We were very pleased with Tim’s rental property. Located on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Guntersville, it was relaxing to sip coffee on the front porch while watching the sunrise. Although not directly on the water, it’s location was even better with such a view. Speaking of coffee, he provides a coffeemaker with a combination coffee pod machine---but bring your own coffee/pods, sugar and sweetener. The full-sized refrigerator also provided cold water and ice—cubed and crushed. The porch furniture has comfortable cushions. The main bedroom is spacious with a large walk-in closet, couch and dresser. The other two bedrooms have closets. There is a full-sized washer and dryer, but we didn’t use it. The TV took a little work to get use to changing channels. We never could find NBC channel. Downstairs was a shuffleboard table and a foozball table. Communication with Tim was flawless. There is a steep driveway to the house and I think about 16 steps from driveway up to the front door. So if walking up steps is a problem, reconsider. This is a quiet peaceful residential neighborhood on a dead-end street. Very little traffic. It was fun to walk the street but no lake walking pathway. There is a community boat launch site and a pier. The pier’s “sitting bench” was comfortable. The A/C and heat worked very well. The rooms were well lighted. It is about a 20-minute drive to Publix in Guntersville. We would definitely return to this property.
