Very nice stay. The house was very nice and well equipped. Plenty of dishes and bowls. Nice gas range for cooking. The beds were great with plenty of good pillows. The hosts were very responsive even though we did not need much. The house was mid century modern with appropriate furniture. There were two nice gas fireplaces to take the chill off. Great stay. We will definitely use this again.

We traveled from GA for my daughter’s wedding in Gig Harbor and the house was exactly as pictured. The yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed it as well. Communication was excellent before & after we left and it was so nice walking in and having a handwritten note & bottle of wine from the owners welcoming us. We enjoyed everything about this house & will definitely stay here again in the future.

The house was clean and the yard was really beautiful... Enjoyed the benches and hidden spots in the garden. I brought my 4 year old grandson on this trip. He was excited about the puzzles, Legos, and story books that were provided. The house had a little something for everyone.Thanks for a great stay.... The quick getaway was fun.

Well-kept and updated ranch style home in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Indoors are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable. We visited during a heat wave so air conditioning was the best! Outside yard and gardens were outstanding! Melinda and Christian were attentive to our needs. Thank you for a great WA vacation!

Quiet Retreat in Lake Forest

Very clean, great for families and good location. We were in town for a wedding and this property was an excellent place to unwind from all the chaos. There were toys games and books for our 4 year old grandson, walking distance to playground and a pizza place for good food. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking devices and the laundry room worked well. The host was very gracious and asked on multiple occasions if we needed anything.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is clean and nicely maintained. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We found everything we needed in the kitchen; it was well supplied. The yard is absolutely lovely! And it’s on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking. Our elderly parents were with us, so it was nice to all be on one level with no stairs. The bathroom and shower in the back were easy to get in and out of which was good for them. The hosts were very helpful and good about communicating in a timely manner. I highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful home and property. We loved every single thing. Highlights: The amazing landscaping, what a joy to see the names of plants added to the landscape. The open layout inside and deck areas outside. Amazing location! We were in town for a concert at Chateau St Michelle on Friday evening and wanted to spend Saturday being tourists in Seattle. We loved this location. Thank you for the absolutely delightful home!

Perfect home base for a great mini vacation

We were in town for several days for a family wedding celebration. Communication with the owner was terrific - prompt and helpful. The location was fantastic, close to everything including the venues, the lake and Burke Gilman trail. We loved the house, relaxing in the hammock on the deck, the amenities, the beautiful gardens and architecture.

Little slice of heaven!

This property is gorgeous! The garden area is so peaceful and relaxing. Melinda came over the day we arrived to welcome us. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions that we had. The house was very clean with a light and airy feel. There are many windows and sliding glass doors which allowed for the perfect amount of natural sunlight. 10/10 recommend!

Wonderful stay in comfortable home!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christian and Melinda’s Lake Forest Park home. The home had an ideal layout - perfect for my family of four - and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed coffee by the fireplace in the mornings and appreciated its central location to many restaurants, breweries, and various locations in and around Seattle. Christian and Melinda were great hosts - made check-in and check-out a breeze, and communicated consistently with us throughout the stay to be sure we had everything we needed.We’ll certainly stay here again next time we are in Seattle! Short trip during winter break

It is a very neat and homey place, perfect for our family with teenagers who appreciate ample of personal space while giving lots of areas for family activities. Other than a little bit aged cabinets which are fully functional, this place is highly recommended. We can imagine our family returning for an even longer stay.

Lovely home

We had a wonderful stay with 6 adults and a 4 month old. There was a pack and play available which made travel much easier for us. The home is true to its pictures - well decorated and clean. The outdoor space is beautiful as well and we saw 3 deer on the property. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy. Christian and Melinda are very communicative and quick to fix any issues.
