Good with the not so good.

The not so great: something was up though...as soon as i got into our room my eyes started watering and they continued too until i left the room and then more when i went back in... didn't ask to change because hotel was full. Parking: its a joke. Tons of rooms, not many parking spots. You would think they would save them for guests but they let anyone pay to park there. Huge pain as parking is limited in seattle and super sketch. The good: decent breakfast, hotel staff was amazing, room was clean, love the kitchens, super central to pike street, convention center.

A great hotel when not under high demand.

The hotel is very conveniently placed downtown, a short distance from Pike Place or the Piers. It’s also across the street from the various convention centers in the city. They offer overnight parking and a complimentary breakfast. Over all the experience was good to great, my only issues where the fact that they seemed unprepared for a large crowd/busy weekend. The hotel bar and breakfast services were good but terribly understaffed. The elevators were in high demand and I heard several people stating that they had to wait upwards of twenty minutes to get a ride, especially after one broke down after our first night there. The staff were helpful and friendly, given they were stretched thin. If I’d needed a hotel for a meeting in the area, something a little less demanding, I’d give it a five star rating, but these businesses show there cracks under load, so it a four for me this time.

This hotel is right across from the convention center so it’s very convenient BUT it has some issues in their rooms. First if you get a suite with fridge. Be warned the fridge is very loud. It kept waking me up at night from turning on. Second, there is a light night type thing that will turn on every 3 hours. It’s very bright and it was hard to figure out how to actually turn it off. The breakfast was great. Really good. Staff, some were helpful. Some were super duds just bad all around. I gave staff a few things to hold in the lobby for my family to pick up and they lost them. Couldn’t find them. So annoying.

The bar tender charged mine and my friends bill for my dinner and drinks. Food for dinner was rather poor. No real flavor to the chicken Alfredo and the hamburger was poor and the fries were bland. Breakfast was as good. Fresh and hot. Could have had an additional waffle batter flavor. Room was very clean and quiet. Bathroom was clean and comfortable. The fold out bed was very comfortable and I’d definitely do that again. However with the bed folded out there was little room to maneuver around the bed to the bathroom. Over all a good choice and easily doable.

Good location

This is a great basic hotel in a great location. It is a short walk to convention center, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Not a lot of amenities but all the basics you need are here.

Great location. Very quiet and felt safe. We were able to walk to most locations, although there were a couple locations that required steep uphill walks, but it wasn’t too bad. Pike place was a 15 minute walk, space needle about 25 minute walk, Capitol Hill (cafes, bars, restaurants) 10 min walk.
