Our stay was flawless and very easy!
First and foremost, the communication was incredible. Clear instructions for how to get there, where the parking was, and how to access the rooms.
They were also very quick to respond. I had some questions and heard back quickly each time.
Accessing the rooms was easy! There were no on-site staff members to help but it’s not needed. You download the app and have access to your room through your phone.
The rooms were very clean and fun, too! It’s built out in a massive house and they’ve done a great job. Very much separate like a hotel, but unique layout like a home. Best of both worlds.
They even let us have a late checkout which was extremely helpful and I’m thankful it worked out with timing.
We’ll be back!!
This property was a hidden gem. I needed to stay close to Swedish Hospital and the location was perfect. Walkable area with plenty of restaurants. For the price, you have a very safe and clean place to stay. Loved the charm and artwork .
I would've give 4 starts but the lack of cleaning. It dropped to 2.
The installations are not bad, the room is small but is enough to stay the night, it has it's own bathroom.
Going back to the cleaning part, as soon as we step in into the room, there was a horrible odor, like if we were walking into a bedroom of someone that lacks of personal hygiene.
I'm not a clean psyco person but this is how bad it was.
I checked the sheets and blanket to see if the odor was coming from there, and it wasn't. But there were long hairs of different colors all over the blanket, which made me think how many people has used this blanket before it was washed
Even though the sheets were white after checking them closely, it seems like they were used several times before putting them in the laundry machine, outrageous!
One of the pillows smelled horrible.
I would have preferred a thousand times a more humble suite with everyday 100% cleanliness than this.
The small space was nice but there were a lot of misses. It was freezing, and even with the heater cranked up to 83 it still felt extremely cold. The bathroom has no door, just an old curtain. The bathroom FLOORS were absolutely miserable to walk on as they felt like solid ice even with socks. The towels were tiny, and the towel warmer barely worked. Having a large looking bed that is just two smaller beds pushed together really made for an uncomfortable sleep. The neighborhood seemed alright but with the street parking in view of the hotel, my car was broken into for the first time in my many Seattle stays. All for a small blanket. The establishment has NO cameras. As close as it is the the hospital I needed to visit, I will never stay here again.
The heat and wifi at this property did not work. I was also locked out of the facility upon check in.

Liked: Cleanliness
It is a single house converted to small hotel. No staff. Everything is very old but clean. Only a window AC unit for heating and works very slow. You need to figure out how to use it. It shuts off during the day and your room temperature is 56F when you are back at evening. It is very uncomfortable in Seattle wet, windy and cold later fall.
This property is a house divided up into little units and there is no staff onsite. But the owners do a good job of communicating through text.
Go to The Art Inn website and download the app because it is typically used for electronic keys to access the property. There were troubles with the app before my stay but I was sent instructions to obtain hard keys in the lock boxes at the entrance of the property.
Room was very small and compact but it was all I needed. Very clean and updated. My only complaint would be that could not open the window to get any fresh air into the room. I would also make use of the earplugs if you are a light sleeper because the walls are rather thin.
Peleton Cafe across the street is an excellent breakfast spot.
The hotel is very close to a bus stop and easy walking distance to a few restaurants and bars.
The property and room were good. Would have liked an area rug at the side of the bed and enough hot water for both of us to take a shower. A bit more assistance with how check in would go. the communication of how it works was rather vague. All in all, great stay.
Very seductive little house, with a perfect little porch, my groundfloor room impeccable. Restaurant opposite perfect for breakfast if you like loud grunge music, and others nearby for later drinks and meals. On the other hand, a bit noisy due to fair amount of traffic and airplanes flying overhead.
This cute, adapted vintage house was a great homebase for our Seattle adventure. The convenient location made a walking, scooter-riding lifestyle possible, and the cafe across the street had excellent food, coffee and bicycles! We enjoyed our stay but the bedding could have been of a higher quality for athlectic sleeping and the excess shelving left us feeling amused... Overall a great budget pick.
Staff were very helpful with the lock box code as we could not get room access via our phone. Bathroom was very clean and amongst the best of our trip to date. Room had everything we needed but bed was very soft and pillows too high. Also very noisy in room 101 as we listened to everyone arriving throughout the night until the early AM.
