There was an issue re name on drivers license and booking name, which usually is not a problem at other places. He charged $200.00 fee for security which is supposed to be refunded. Nobody there this morning to do that. No continental breakfast and they don't even have an ice maker.

We absolutely loved the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings of the Sunshine Coast—it's a stunning place to explore and unwind. The scenery, trails, and coastal views were truly memorable and made our trip worthwhile. However, the experience at our accommodation was less relaxing than we hoped. Every morning around 6 a.m., we were woken up by loud delivery trucks, garbage collection, motorcycle engines, and even conversations from the night watch right beneath our window. It was hard to get a good night's sleep with all the noise. We asked if we could move to a quieter room on the other side of the building, but were told, “You booked with Expedia, you should have called.” That response felt dismissive and unhelpful—especially since we were just trying to make the most of our stay. If you're a light sleeper or value quiet mornings, this might not be the ideal spot. But if you're here for the nature and can overlook the noise, the Sunshine Coast itself won’t disappoint.

we were quite happy with our stay at the spot , Hector , who was the first to greet us at the front desk was super friendly and helpful .Rhoda , who checked us in was also great ! beds and pillows were comfy ( 4 pillows would be great ) . bathroom towels were a little small . Nice size TV , i would suggest no fragrance be used for the laundering , we stayed in 3 properties in 3 nights run by this company and noticed this, fragrance free is the way to go ! all in all a nicely renovated property , we would stay again .

renovated and clean. love the water view and the fact that it was right beside the lighthouse pub. Ample free parking and inly a 3 min drive to downtown sechelt. Also pet friendly (some rooms) and a dog park/childrens park right around the corner. Quick check in and check out. Bathroom and room is super clean and bed/pillows are comfortable. Also has lots of outlets to plug in chargers etc. Air conditioning in the room works excellent in the summer. The only thing i would suggest is extra blankets and pillow in the room and more counter space in the bathroom. Other than that this is the only place i stay in when im in sechelt

Great experience at the Spot

The hotel was clean and when I arrived, the A/C was already on in the room which was amazingly considerate. The gentleman at the front desk, whom dealt with a few times with respect to booking further reservations, was a credit to his profession. He was resourceful, friendly and most helpful! I couldn't have been more impressed

Good location on the water. Good restaurant /pub nearby. Easy parking. Desk clerk was rude and unhelpful at check in. Clerk next day was better. Rooms recently renovated. AC worked great. Small patio/bbq on the water was nice. Has a sister hotel at secret cove that you can visit and use their facilities (pool, deck, ocean access, kayaks) Would stay again

The owners have done a nice renovation on the building. The surrounding area is not quite as nice, but the marina is OK. Staff were wonderful and the room was clean. The bed and bedding were super nice. I would stay again if I was coming through town. Thank you.

I stayed for 2 nights while working out of town. I met Hector at the front desk and he was very helpful and friendly. The view was lovely, the bed was clean and comfy, great water pressure in the showers and a good restaurant next door. I also found it quiet at night.
