This storybook 5,000 square foot cabin nestles far back off the road in the cottonwood trees on 27 private acres with 2 creeks. This lodge feel home has 2 bathrooms, 3 private bedrooms and a large "seven dwarf" loft which houses many more beds. The cabin can sleep 26 in beds and there are additional mattresses for the floor. You'll love relaxing in the 2 story great room by the large stone fireplace, playing the piano or swinging in the porch swing on the wrap around porch. You'll enjoy the sports court, fire pit, horse corral, tree swing and large lawn that surrounds the cabin. Take a hike on the hill behind the cabin or watch deer, owls and other wildlife that live there. A great setting for snowmobiling, four wheeling, and horseback riding. Deer Creek Reservoir is only about 5 miles away. There is a large 14 foot home theater screen, and a popcorn machine. There is an Outdoor Hot Tub on the back deck. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Ping pong table and large air hockey table are in the loft as well as a TV for watching movies and a child's play kitchen and table and other toys. This is a gorgeous area, just minutes from Provo/Orem, Sundance Resort, Deer Creek Reservoir, Soldier Hollow, Heber and Midway. There is only one tiny grocery store in town with a delicious little Grill restaurant where you can eat in or take out burgers and other tasty food. Other than that, the only other "public" building is a quaint little post office. No traffic lights or crowds.
However, there are many wonderful restaurants just minutes away in Heber or Midway should you desire. Or try Sundance with its country store, and two great restaurants -also skiing without the crowds in the winter. Less than 30 miles to Park City, with skiing, shopping and dining, and the Park City summer concerts, alpine slide and art festival.
There is much to see and do close by. Walk the Cascade Springs Interpretive Trails where you'll find a series of beautiful springs, cascades and pools or drive the Alpine Loop. Swim or Scuba dive in the Homestead Crater Hot Springs in Midway. Float or fish the Provo River on your tube or raft. Take a ride on the Heber Creeper which hosts seasonal excursions such as The Haunted Forest, Comedy Murder Mystery, Raft and Rails, Fiddlers and Fireworks, Ice Skating Train and the North Pole Express along with many others.
Bring snowmobiles, horses or 4 wheelers and take a ride up the canyon where it opens up for miles of beautiful trails all the way to Daniel's Summit and beyond.
Bring a boat and go waterskiing or fishing on Beautiful Deer Creek Reservoir which is about 5 miles away or drive another 15 miles to the Jordanelle Reservoir.
Soldier Hollow has an awesome tubing hill, world class cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sheepdog championships, and other events and competitions.
Check out a local rodeo or celebration in the summer or ride your bike around this quaint town and meet the friendly people.
