Very nice resort, impeccable service - always with a smile. CLean, comfortable beds, good location on the main road but still quiet inside the resort. Three pools, very clean. Fantastic breakfast available until 10:30 with options for everyone including a stir fry station, egg station and great coffee.

Great staff and location for seminyak

This is our second time at the hotel. The staff are brilliant and the breakfast is nice. They even cater for my gluten intolerance which was lovely. They also had staff say hi to us that remembered us from the last visit although the pic taken at time of check in may also have helped but was a nice touch. They put an anniversary message in our room and some cake which I couldn’t have due to previously mentioned intolerances, still nice though. The only negatives are that the hotel is starting to look like it needs some updates and that the drinks are quite expensive for bali. Seminyak isn’t my favourite place to visit due to all the ‘bike bike’ requests as you walk along but this is a nice hotel amongst it all.

Some of the property does need a little updating, but received an upgrade and our room was lovely. Very spacious & a big balcony area to relax. The staff are all so friendly and the breakfast had fantastic options to choose from, and all so fresh. We were only there for 5 days, so sadly we did not get to try the in-house dining options, but I am sure we will come back to Bali again.

The Montigo Resort is a fabulous hotel suited to anyone who enjoys a smaller hotel where everyone knows your name. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are having a good time. Our room was delightful - overlooking the pool, lovely balcony with extra large daybed that you can easily lose a few hours snoozing on! The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The Wellness Spa whether for a massage or mani/pedi was fabulous. Three swimming pools, yoga or boxing, room service or dinner at their Japanese restaurant, the urge to head to Seminyak’s main shopping area or next door to Potato Head easily disappears for staying in! We saw lots of families with young children, couples of all ages and groups of friends here on holidays. Our second visit was even better than our first. Everything is here for a good holiday but it is the Balinese staff that look after you with a genuine heart, natural eagerness to please and a gentleness that is both inviting and calming… love Bali… Recommend Montigo Resort Seminyak.

We were stuck in the smelly room for 3 days with drain and sewer issues and were not allocated a different room even after multiple requests. Bali was closed due to NYEPI and we were locked in our rooms for more that 2 days, hence couldn't change the resort. Also the staff's behaviour is discriminatory with non-whites. Please visit if you want to experience the above.

All staff are sensational. Kind and courteous. (Note for The hotel owner - resort needs repairs and maintenance to bring it back to a 5 star level. It’s getting very tired ) . We enjoyed our stay here - the pools are lovely .
