If your a westerner, be prepared for a bit of a culture shock if you haven't lived in similar style lodging before. Fortunately, I knew what I was getting into and was prepared for it. In terms of cleanliness, staffing and amenities, I cannot find any fault with them. The only thing I didn't like was the hot water system either too hot or too cold. There was never an inbetween. I loved the experience. Thank you Ari House..I'll be back when I return

Wonderful stay at Ari House!

What a special place tucked away in the heart of Seoul! Staff were friendly and gave us suggestions. There is no elevator in the building so be prepared to walk up the steep stairs. Loved the ondai style beds and made us get into the mood of being in Korea.

They embodied the theme of the guesthouse. They have very accommodating hosts and food are always available. Ammenities were complete. A convenient place to stay, 2 min walk to airport limousine and myeongdong station. 5 min walk to myeongdon walking street. You can have all streetfood and shopping you want!!!

Excellent location to stay

My stay was awesome! Being a 1st timer to Korea, location is very important to me. ARI house is located just across the famous day shopping and night market. There’s direct bus to/from airport and to N Seoul Tower just outside the main road, many buses and subway option to attractions. A lot of good reviews restaurant around. The room is clean but small and no lift so be prepared and also a slight slope walk to reach the place but it was okay for us. Toilet has a slight smell due to ventilation but very clean. The owner / staff are warm and friendly and even granted us to check in early since our flight arrive at 7am (subjected to availability) Free flow cup noodles, drinks, bread and snacks provided. No daily room cleaning service but they provide change of towel every day (btw, it’s a culture to use small towel instead of bath towel in Korea) Bed is Korean ondol style and the floor will be heated up at night. We didnt turn on aircon or radiator but just left the window open. The cool air was good with the nicely heated floor. It has a homely feel yet a lot of privacy. We will definitely stay here if we return again.

Very nice location, 5 mins walk from train station and shopping district, with convenience stores nearby. Staffs are very friendly, room is a little small, but very clean and quiet. The hotel provides free snack, cup noodles, cookies / bread, and drinks, as long as they last. I have a very pleasant experience staying in the hotel. I am sure that I will be visiting it again next time when I come to Seoul for Twice concert again!
