Relaxing space

Restful comfortable, modern barn conversion with far reaching views and lots of wild life . Pool and garden was expertly designed. We didn’t need to venture far because the house provided comfortable space to eat and rest. Places of interest were a drive away as the house is quite remote however this didn’t affect us and added to the holiday. Supermarket in the nearby town was sufficient . Good recommendations for restaurants and places of interest left in the house . We would love to return .

Our family (two adults and two children aged 7 and 9) rented this house for one week in July 2024, and were absolutely delighted with our choice. It is stylishly decorated, is well-maintained, has high-spec modern appliances and the pool and outside views are stunning. The house is in a relatively remote area of the country-side, so a car is essential but the peace and quiet idyllic. The host is very friendly, welcoming and professional - available if needed, but we were left in total privacy between our check-in and check-out. We're very happy to provide 5 stars and highly recommend.

Just what we needed after the carnage of a weekend camping at Le Mans motogp! Truly relaxing, clean and peaceful. Swimming pool has the most pleasant water we've ever swam in. Overall would highly recommend. Many thanks.

Sensational in Sergeac

Sandrine was the consummate host. The gĂźte was of an extremely high standard, from interiors to equipment, welcome treats(jam, honey, cake & beer!) to pool, air conditioning to bedding, cleanliness to provision of linen and shower gels/soaps & body lotions! There was not one detail that Sandrine had not thought of. I would highly recommend. This was hands down the most glamorous and gorgeous fire I have ever stated in. Definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GĂźte and host.

Lovely modern villa. Really well equipped with a lovely hamper on arrival. The family, who live in the house behind are nice and friendly checking all was ok etc, otherwise you don't know they are there. Wifi speed isn't great at the house at the moment, but they were looking into it. You have a lovely pool and silence (unless you take the waterproof sound system out to stream to :-) )

Ce bien a rĂ©pondu Ă  tous nos besoins. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂ©s bien accueillis et de nombreuses petites attentions cullinaires nous ont Ă©tĂ© offertes. La maison est trĂ©s bien Ă©quipĂ©e, fraiche grace Ă  la climatisation. L'emplacement est idĂ©al pour randonner et visiter de nombreux sites. L'exterieur offre une magnifique piscine, une vue sur la voie lactĂ©e le soir, la chance de croiser des chevreuils... C'est un havre de tranquilitĂ© oĂč il fait bon s'y poser et s'y ressourcer. Et si vous avez une question, un besoin, un souci, la propriĂ©taire y rĂ©pond trĂšs rapidement et efficacement.

Une vraie maison de vacances

Merci à Sandrine pour son excellent accueil. La maison est trÚs bien restaurée, trÚs bien équipée, et trÚs agréable à vivre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, la piÚce à vivre trÚs grande et la piscine toujours ensoleillée. La maison est à 10/15 minutes du bourg, avec une trÚs belle vue sur les paysages alentours. Beaucoup de sites historiques à visiter dans les environs. Nous avons passé de trÚs belles vacances. Merci

Das Haus hat alles was man sich wĂŒnscht, einen tollen Pool, tolle Aussicht, viel Platz....und auch ein super Ausgangspunkt um alles in der Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir haben es sehr genossen!

Absolute Spitzenklasse

Die Lage des Hauses war fĂŒr uns ideal, da wir von dort viele AusflĂŒge zu veschiedenen SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten in der Region machen konnten. Es liegt absolut ruhig am Waldrand und ist ideal zum Entspannen. Private ParkplĂ€tze stehen vor dem Haus zur VerfĂŒgung. Die sehr freundliche Gastgeberin hatte uns schon im Vorfeld viele Fragen zeitnah beantwortet und bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit kleinen lokalen Aufmerksamkeiten erwartet. Das Haus war blitzsauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an Nichts, In den Schlafzimmern sowie in den BĂ€dern gab es sehr viel Stauraum und Ablagen, ĂŒberall waren automatische Sonnenrollos angebracht, es gab eine moderne Klimaanlage, qualitativ hochwertige BettwĂ€sche, HandtĂŒcher, Badegel/Creme sowie BadetĂŒcher fĂŒrs Schwimmbad wurden bereitgestellt und in der KĂŒche gab es Annehmlichkeiten wir Kaffee, GewĂŒrze und genĂŒgend Tabs fĂŒr die SpĂŒlmaschine - kleine Dinge , die man woanders oft vergebens sucht bzw. erst kaufen muss. Der Aussenbereich auf verschiedenen Ebenen ist wunderschön, mit verschiedenen Sitzecken, Sonnenliegen, Sonnenschirmen und dem beheizten Schwimmbad – wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können Sandrine’s Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen.

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© la situation calme et le dĂ©cor de la maison. Tout est bien amĂ©nagĂ© et trĂšs pratique sur un Ă©tage, la cuisine est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e! La piscine chauffĂ©e nous a permis d’y aller beaucoup. Il y a beaucoup de visites Ă  faire dans les environs (Lascaux, Site de la Madelaine
), sans devoir faire trop de route. Parfaite!

Very pleasant vacation
