There was mouse droppings every where. Nothing was clean. The bed, the dishes the table, everything had mouse poop. I will not be going back. I was happy to pull up to a beautiful little cabin but I did not think I had to clean the entire cabin the first day I got there there was mold all in the shower too. The vacuum woulfnt even vacuum it was clogged up we had to clean that.
It was okay, beautiful mountain view. But there was this big tree in the way. That could of been cut down so you can see it better. Um the place was not cleaned at all. We came from a 7 hr drive. And wanting to relax in a clean home. And didnt realize anything until the next day. Multiple issues that I will not bring up. But when you state that they are cleaning and prepping your room. Are they really?? Because they didnt with us.
1. The good:Great view! The view off the porch of the mountains was beautiful. The cabin itself was cute and nicely designed. Plenty of privacy. 2. Neutral:The cabin is in a housing development of similar vacation homes. Various small things could use maintenance. Like doors etc. 3. The bad:Smelled like dogs. A lot. Even the HVAC system smelled like dogs when it blew air out. The check in process was irritating. I had to call so my booking didn't get cancelled bc the ID verification did not work. I noticed this upon arrival, via email, which was not ideal. The jacuzzi tub jets spit out water that had paticulates and floating stuff. Did not end up using.
This is an amazing place to vacation! We give it 5 stars! Hereâs the pros and cons:Pros:- Beautiful view of the mountains- Hot tub on the deck with a mountain view- Central AC!- Dog friendly!- Very, very clean!- Full kitchen- Laundry soap, dish soap, bathroom/shower soaps and towels provided (it was sooo nice to have laundry on site)Cons (but would not keep us from booking again):- No campfire area :( - No yard space for dogs- Up a very steep and windy road, but needed to get that Mountain View!- Bed is VERY hard! Some people like that, some donât. Bring a pad or blankets to make it softer and that will help a lot. - No can opener or coffee filters- You might want to bring an extension cord for easier access to outletsSo the BEAR storyâŠ. I was sitting in the hot tub one evening at dusk. I had heard something below in the bushes that sounded large. About a half hour later, I see a truck with the passenger door open and what appeared to be someone going in and out of the truck unloading (it was dark out remember!!). I thought it was a new neighbor so didnât think much of it. I heard plastic crinkling and the dome light was on. Thatâs when it dawned on me. Thatâs OUR truck and we arenât out there! I jumped out and went to the edge of the deck to look. Before long, we could see a HUGE black bear inside the cab of our truck! He didnât leave the truck for 45 mins until the sheriff arrived to help. Minimal damage, thank God! LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES!!!
It was a great experience. Super quiet, little care packages of amenities. You never have to leave the cabin if you donât want to as everything is there besides food. We didnât spend much time there as we spent lots of time exploring the state, but it felt like home when we got back late at night.
The property surpassed expectations. When I booked I wasnât sure exactly where my cabin would be. We lucked out and were nestled near the top of the ridge overlooking the valley. The hot tub on the deck was an added bonus to the amazing sunsets. The drive up and down is not for the faint but it was worth every penny
It was nice. (Was not advised of no hairdryer was not warned of no coffee) (Maybe I missed it) These are insignificant details, what was unfortunate was the bed, hard and so high I had to drag my self up using the bed posts. Im 5'2"....Not great for walking the next day! Other than that, it was gorgeous!Thise are justv
Overall it was a beautiful experience. I was a little nervous driving on the narrow roads, especially with the steep incline. The hot tub on the deck was awesome.
The stay was extremely relaxing and cute however, all of the phone numbers for the office both online and in the cabin were out of service so I was not able to get ahold of anyone for the duration of our stay.
It was a narrow steep winding road to reach the top to our destination but the cabin was cozy & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our brief stay. A bear visited & left paw prints on our vehicle.
Stopped in the Smokey Mountains on the way to North Carolina. Great little cabin with almost everything you need. I say almost, because I needed a hairdryer! It is beautiful scenery. Would stay at again!
Loved it. Cute, plenty room for a couple. Only down fall was the parking. The issue was with others in the adjoining cabin. It was stated on both rentals about it being shared. Some people donât realize it read what they need too. Will be back again.
Beautiful cabin. Make sure you gather your groceries/beverages before you head up the hill. You wonât want to leave. Also⊠Iâd suggest arriving in daylight. The road is an adventure⊠canât imagine doing it at night!
I took my husband here for Fatherâs Day he enjoyed it to the fullest only thing I didnât like was itâs not as private as they have it online but other then that it was beautiful quiet place we had an easy check in easy check out never had an issues finding it super clean well stocked hot tub is great would recommend Vacasa for your vacation rental place
