Lovely cabin for a weekend getaway with my husband and our dogs. Nicely appointed with two king master suites (one in an open loft), as well as an additional bedroom downstairs with a great area for hanging out. There were plenty of games, books, and even an old-school arcade game. It is situated pretty high in the mountains and the driveway is a bit steep, but it is a pull through driveway, and we were able to turn in the parking area. Both of the porches were covered and enclosed which was great for our pups. Amazing view while the trees were bare, and it would be great to visit during a warmer season to enjoy the outdoor spaces more. First time staying in the Wear Valley area. You can get there by taking some winding back roads if you want to avoid traffic. That said, the location was convenient to a lot of the tourist attractions as well. We did run into one issue, but these things can happen. The host was very responsive and did everything he could to address the issue. I would definitely book this cabin again.
