We were looking for a cute, quiet cabin to spend our honeymoon and my 50th birthday, and for the most part this was it! Joel was a great host, very responsive. Cabin was beautiful and very clean, well stocked for our week's stay. A few drawbacks worth mentioning. Although cabin is pet friendly, the outdoor area is not suitable for dogs any bigger than 5-10 lbs. There is really no grassy area for them to go outside. Also, cabin is at the top of the mountain, which means a VERY windy, steep, narrow, long drive up and down. Inside, cabin is not very insulated, so EVERY noise can be heard between floors, from upstairs to downstairs. All of these are reflections of the environment, location, etc. and certainly not anything that can be changed. Just something to consider when planning your stay. I would definitely recommend this cabin if the drive and pet environment are not a consideration as Joel is a wonderful host and the cabin itself was fantastic. I will consider one of his other properties in the future to avoid the mountain climb, but that is just personal preference. Thank you for a wonderful stay Joel!!
