We had a great stay. Cabin was very well stocked and clean. 2 fridges! Great location away from the commotion but still close. Hot tub and pool were great. We spent alot of time in the movie room. TV is huge! Wonderful view. Host responded within the hour of any questions we had! We have zero complaints! Would definitely book again!

The host, Katie, was so friendly and quick to respond to a message! The cabin/home is amazing! We watched movies in the media room, played pool, shuffle board and PacMan! The indoor pool area is definitely a plus! Views are great too! Within 1/2 hour drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Both areas have so much to do! Definitely a spot to seriously consider!

We booked Dancing Firefly for the week of Christmas for our family of 6, including our 5yo granddaughter and it was wonderful and exceeded expectations. Our host was very helpful in our check-in process and provided a digital information book with helpful facts about the cabin as well as attractions and restaurants in the area. The cabin was immaculate and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms also had plenty of room with large showers. The kitchen was well equipped with 2 microwaves and 2 refrigerators which were appreciated. Swimming pool and hot tub were welcome features, especially for our 5 yr old. She also enjoyed the kid's bunk bedroom and play area. The theater room was also a great place to spend our evenings together. The cabin was conveniently located, close enough to attractions, yet on the "peaceful side" of the Smokies. It was 30-60 min. drive to Gatlinburg or Sevierville with lots of choices of things to do during our stay. Great views from the deck to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. All in all, an ideal cabin for a family vacation in the Smokies.

The cabin was not very clean - dirty shower tile, dirty windows, dusty/dirty floors. There was a coffee bar but no coffee pods left out for us. The pool is tiny, and looks much bigger in the pictures online. The hot tub is in a very sketchy spot. I’d definitely consider putting it somewhere with more support, so visitors won’t have to worry about the porch deck caving from the weight.

Honestly one of the cleanest cabins my family and I have stayed in. My older grandchildren enjoyed the theater and game room and my youngest grandchildren loved the swimming pool. Beautiful cabin with a spectacular view. Host was quick to respond back, she answered all of my questions I had before renting the cabin. We will definitely stay in the cabin again.

The cabin was everything we had hoped for our family get-together. The views were phenomenal. We even saw a mama bear and cubs walk down the road and play in the area behind the house where we could watch safely from the top balcony. The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The kids loved the pool, theatre and game room! The host, Katie, was very responsive before and during our visit for the few questions that arose. We would stay here again!

3rd stay and always wondeful

We have now stayed in this beautiful home 3 years in a row for our family vacation. The owner is great at communication, is helpful and kind. The house is always clean and welcoming! There is plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults! Also, the beds are so incredibly comfortable! The views are amazing too! Cannot wait to come back next year!

Overall great stay. Checkin was seamless. The host was very helpful and responsive with a few issues that came up. House is nice except for the musty smell on the lower level. Kitchen was large and great for our family to cook together. Lack of decent vent hood made it a little smokey we just popped the door open and kept an eye out for bears! lol Which we did see 2x that week in the tree to the right of the house. A mama and 2 cubs. Very fun like having our own little zoo!

Great Family Trip

We had an amazing stay! Six adults and rhree kids, there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids had a blast in the pool, game room and theater. Sitting in the hot tub with a perfect view of moutains was wonderful. We had one small issue with the front door and it was fixed immediately. Can't say enough good things about our stay!

Will definitely be back!

We loved staying at The Dancing Firefly! It was so roomy for our 7 people and there was so much to do. We stayed in the theatre room, hot tub and game room. The poolroom was nice but a little too cold when we were there. The 3 shower heads in each shower were an awesome feature. The views were amazing and one day we saw a mama bear and two little cubs and another day we saw another bigger bear all just walking down the road. The location is great if you like to stay near the park but not far from pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. Wears Valley is a great place to stay if you like to stay away from the hustle & bustle. The sloppy hog restaurant is a must try. I don’t really have anything negative to say but if I had to say anything it would be that it would’ve been nice to have a fire pit of some sort and a gas grill on the deck. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Best VRBO ever!!!

We all loved this cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are stunning. We all had so much fun, the kids were excited for a rainy day to spend more time in the cabin. The host was so responsive to anything we asked about. Our week was delightful.

The pictures for this property do not compare to the actual house. It had everything we needed and there was so much to do inside on days we didn’t go out. The kids loved it as much as we did. I saw a review about safety concerns and I must say, the pool has multiple safety features such as a siren to detect pool use when there isn’t supposed to be, door alarms, and door locks. At no point was I concerned about my children having an accident. There are fire extinguishers and maps, even outlet plug covers in the kids rooms. We’ve stayed in a lot of places on many different platforms and this place was by far the best we’ve stayed in and even the host was the most responsive, many answers within minutes of asking even in the middle of the night. This place is on my list for next time.

After Christmas weekend stay

Beautiful Cabin

Loved this cabin! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked. The views from the cabin are amazing and we even saw a bear on our last night! This house was perfect for a group of 10 and gave everyone plenty of space to spread out, while also offering plenty of activities for family time. Our kids (ages 1-8) took advantage of everything the cabin had to offer -- pool, game table, Pac-Man, and the movie theater. Katie was an awesome host, very communicative and prompt at responding to messages. Would definitely recommend this cabin for your Smokies trip!
