We stay in pigeon forge every spring and love to try new cabins. The exterior photos of this cabin are either from years ago or have been photoshopped to make it seem secluded. There are 2 cabins right next to this one. They are so close we waved and said high to the neighbors on their porch every time we walked out the back door. When we arrived we noticed the exterior was extremely weathered but didnât think much about it. However on the second day of our stay, our kids were playing on the deck and grabbed one of the rails. The rail completely detached from the bottom. Any small child could have run into this or leaned on it and fell off the deck. Upon further investigation we found almost 10 of the rails were loose. I contacted the management company and let them know. They sent someone out later that day to âfixâ the deck. The contractor hammered those rails back to the deck and said they would be back the next day to provide a permanent fix but we never saw them. The entire deck on the front and back of this cabin need replaced. When I emailed the company to voice these concerns, they never responded. Other minor issues included a cloudy hot tub with an odor, cobwebs in the living area, dead bugs in all the windows, a broken porch gate and a broken bed in the master. I hope that this cabin gets the repairs necessary before someone gets seriously injured.
We had a great stay at this family friendly cabin. The cabin was clean and spacious. There was plenty of space to spread out and do different activities. We spent a lot of time using the pool table and hot tub. The morning sunrises are beautiful while eating breakfast on the deck. The deck was very weathered and could have been kept up a little more but it was still a nice place to hang out and relax. Pillows arenât comfortable at all so you may want to bring one of your own. The unit even had a dog crate, bed, bowls and toys. How very thoughtful for the owners to include those. We would stay here again.
We love the cabin and everything it offered. Very comfortable and roomy . Really catered to my dog. bed , cage, toys and fenced yard. My only complaint was they waited until after we checked in and stayed overnight to mow and the grass was high my dog wouldn't go potty in it. Then he got green paws from fresh cut grass. Overall beautiful easy to find romantic cabin.
Location was good. Far enough away but close enough if you needed anything. Biggest downfall was the grass was not cut. My small dog had a hard time using the bathroom. The blinds were very dusty and there were cob webs in every corner. Also battery powered clocks did not work. But all in all decent place to stay.
This cabin was exactly what we were wanted for our family of 3 and our small dog. The location is great and the view is amazing. It was close to Pigeon Forge and not a bad drive to Gatlinburg. The cabin is roomy and the layout is perfect. I would stay there again. It is very weathered on the exterior, but the interior is very nice. There are minor issues on the interior. You can tell that many dogs have chewed on the blinds and there were quite a few large spiderwebs, especially in the upper windows. We had some heavy rain on the first night and the roof in the spare bedroom had some mild leaking. Overall, we were pleased with our stay. If you are looking for a log cabin with an amazing view, this definitely is the place to stay!
We stayed for nearly a week at this property. I loved how it was off the beaten path a little bit even with having neighboring cabins it was very quiet. All the main attractions were just a short drive (15 minutes or so) from the cabin in Pigeon Forge. The views were great to take in as well.
Cons: on the backside of the property there's a gap in the fence and our dogs got out. Luckily we don't let them too far out of sight for this exact reason. I placed a stick there to prevent them from getting out. The blinds had some dust on them and there were some big cobwebs on the windows. I wasn't a fan of the shower in the master bath, it had a seat in there that took up valuable space.
Would we book again? Yes!
My family had a wonderful time at this property. The view was amazing it was very peaceful. The cabin was spacious and felt cozy and like home. The arcade and pool table kept everyone busy. Beds were very very comfortable. We didn't bring out dog this time but they had everything needed if your bring yours. Only thing missing was a toaster but we made due without it.
