The view is crazy. That part alone is worth it and we all had a great time. The master bedroom/bathroom/sun room were awesome too. Large living room with a bigs creen and fireplace. Well appointed kitchen (bring your own Nespresso pods lol). Spiral staircase is a bit tight if you're a bigger guy or you're carrying luggage, but there's always the door to the camp fire side of the exterior for the latter. Downstairs doesn't have its own thermostat, so the heater that's down there is very useful if you're staying in winter.I saw others mention the driveway and I wanted to expand a little there. The road all the way to the driveway is paved. The house's driveway is gravel. Going down is fine, going up is fine in the dry even with a normal car like my Accord. Would only potentially be a issue if it's REALLY rainy or there's a bunch of snow or maybe if you have a low RWD car/truck and are too agressive with the throttle.

Amazing View

Our stay at Casa del Cielo was wonderful. The house was great. Very spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was amazing. And the view was incredible. We had a wonderful stay and if we’re ever back in the area, we’d definitely stay here again.

Wedding

We chose this place, because of the perfect view of the mountains for a small family wedding. The owners were very accommodating and quick with responding to our questions. It was spotless and decorated beautifully. We plan to come back and visit one day!

Beautiful

I have stayed at a lot of properties in the Smokies and this is the first one I have stayed at twice. Views are amazing of the mountains and downtown Pigeon Forge. It is very private and quiet. House is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Beds, sheets and towels are very nice. There is also plenty of level parking. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again!

Stunning

This home is absolutely beautiful! Everything is very nice, new, and clean. Views of mountains and downtown Pigeon Forge are amazing! Everything in house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. This is a true definition of a 5 star rental. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely come back to stay!

The property was great and just as advertised.The kitchen appliances (microwave and oven) were substandard. Also, the ice maker in the refrigerator did not work and the kitchen faucet is wonky.The hottub cover could stand to be replaced and a lifter would be nice.

Beautiful Views, Wonderful Stay

Beautiful property, has everything you would need. Loved relaxing on the decks overlooking Sevierville and the surrounding mountains. Very quiet 4 night stay. . Great kitchen, 4 bedrooms and a game room downstairs. Weather was perfect too. Only a short drive to Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Saw a few deer at the house, and a black bear rummaging thru a construction dumpster further down the mountain. Road in is completely paved except for about the last third mile to the house. It’s not necessary, but a good idea to have a vehicle with AWD or 4WD for the drive in, especially the final 1/4 mile to the house, very steep gravel drive, but pretty. Would love to do it again.

Amazing views

I’ll start by saying that this cabin is really luxury and we enjoyed our stay so much especially that it has great views that are not obstructed by trees or anything, you can see the mountains and part of the city clearly from it’s porch, very clean and spacious, they have play room that you can enjoy, modern kitchen and rooms, the only downside of it is just the trip we took to reach the lodge, you need to be aware that it’s around 20 to 25 min far as they mentioned in the description, you need a good car with good condition tires to hold on traction to stay stable on the ground, especially at the entrance of the cabin, it’s a little bit sloping and you need good traction to go up and down, plus that at certain point near the cabin the road will be narrow that it’s enough only for one car so if there are 2 cars reached at the same time be prepared to manage, if you have phobia of heights then be prepared also,everything is amazing about this place except the road up and down to reach it, otherwise we are so thankful for the excellent experience it gave to us .

You’re on top of the world!

This home has been made into a vacationers paradise with a view that can’t described. You have to see it. The small deck on the edge of the mountain is a perfect place to take it all in. A fire pit with eight Adirondack chairs. A beautiful kitchen with everything you need. A really fun game room. I loved the electronic pinball! A fireplace that draws perfectly, no smoky smell in the house. A huge master bath! I loved the hot tub under the stars with the view of Pigeon Forge way below. I definitely recommend a 4WD vehicle. Our X5 had no problem. The beds are very firm memory foam except for one queen bed that has a softer topper. Plenty of the essentials provided, towels, shampoo, dish towels, dishwasher powder. Ana was very responsive when we needed something, and had someone bring us a couple things that were missing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A little piece of heaven!

I cant say enough good things about this home! We couldn't get over the views and loved the privacy and seclusion! Our kids loved the arcade and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, sauna, and sun room! Property manager was quick to address any problems we had, and was very helpful!! Just a heads up it takes a solid 20 to 30 minutes to get anywhere- even for basic necessitates bc of location at top on the mountain. You will need a 4 wheel drive vehicles to make it up/down very steep roads and gravel narrow driveway. There was a lot of wash out and ditches from last storms. Also water runs out due to I guess the well ontop of mountain and you need to wait 10-20 minutes for it to refill it.. so if running dushwasher don't attempt showers, or washing machine etc. Also it would be helpful to have some basic items for cooking like pan spray, salt and pepper, or additional detergents- besides the "one load" provided make sure you bring your own. But there is shampoo etc provided which as helpful! We will definitely be back! Wonderful trip!

Beautiful views but the house needs work and we were left without AC during 90 degree days.

The title says it all. The house has some of the best views I’ve ever had in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area but it also had problems. We were left with no AC, in half the house, during July in 90 degree heat. They knew about the issue before we arrived and did not give us any type of warning or alternate plans. The side of the house with no AC included the master bedroom, game room, and secondary bedroom with bathroom. Sleeping was miserable. The house has peeling paint, chunks of paint/drywall missing, scuff marks, and very dirty walls and doors. Basically it needs a major cleaning and probably a complete repainting. Lots of small issues like leaky faucets and the grass was so high and never cut which made it hard to take my 20 lb dog out. We couldn’t even make it down to the observation deck because the grass was so high. We were short on linens and the ones we did have were not very clean. I did several loads of laundry to get clean towels and sheets. After finding bugs, not bed bugs, in my kids slept on top of the provided linens with blankets we bought.There is more that I could add but the character limit is keeping me from adding more. Be warned that this place is not as great as it seems. Now I will say after much complaining, they did refund me 400. Considering the cleaning fee was more than that I wasn’t exactly happy with the amount but what do you do?! We made the best of the rest of our vacation but the house was an absolute nightmare.

This is a truly amazing getaway.

This is a truly amazing getaway. The views are spectacular. We stayed here throughout Thanksgiving and the house is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs. No need to bring or purchase anything besides food. The house is beautiful and the views, well will make you never want to leave. Also, there is plenty to do from soaking in the hot tub, relaxing in the sauna, sitting around the bon fire, shooting pool, board games, arcade games and playing a little poker. My family and I will definitely be returning. I would recommend making sure you arrive before dark the first time to cabin. The road gets very curvy and narrow once you turn on Bluff Mountain Rd. Just know, if you stay here, you will absolutely love every second.

Loved the house & view

The house is super cool, and the view is truly amazing. Of cabins/chalets on top of mountains I’ve been too, this might be the best view I’ve ever seen. House was very well stocked for a rental in terms of kitchen equipment, items for the fire, game room, etc. My only issue, is that you really need to get there during the day, at least the first time. They didn’t warn me about this, but you really don’t want to try getting up the (smokey) mountain in the dark. Visibility on that road at night was nonexistent at certain parts, and if you’ve not done it yet, you’ll literally have to get out of the car to look every few feet. After the first time it wasn’t bad because I remembered where the road turned, but that first night was pretty harrowing. If you can handle that though, this is an amazing property. I was truly sad to leave. Very private, as it’s a multi-acre lot. The hosts were really incredible and thoughtful. House itself is really cool. View was top notch. I would definitely go back!
