PLEASE NOTE: Starting from 28th April construction will begin on the neighbouring block. Occasionally, a power saw may be in use through to the end of May, causing brief interruptions to the usual tranquility. The construction site is out of view from the house, and we hope any disturbance will be minimal.

Wooshwood is an enchanting getaway, bursting with colourful, nature-inspired décor and a joyful atmosphere that instantly uplifts your spirit.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from the heart of Denmark, Wooshwood is ideally positioned for both solitude and adventure. You’re only minutes away from the golden sands of William Bay, celebrated wineries, and many popular local attractions are nearby.

We have three inviting and relaxing bedrooms, and a delightful ensuite with a view. The split-level living rooms provide good separation and, whether you want to enjoy family time or steal a bit of solitude, Wooshwood accommodates you gracefully.

Our nearly wrap-around veranda offers extra nooks for reading, birdwatching, or simply savouring the natural soundscape. Expect visits from diverse bird species and kangaroos, and your four-legged friends will love the outdoor space to roam in.

Wooshwood makes a wonderful year-round retreat with a warm, crackling wood fire and a big, romantic bath for luxurious soaks - blissful for couples, it’s also child-friendly with room for a comfy supervisor’s chair!

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and baking enthusiasts. For bookworms, there’s a charming window seat and a little library to choose from. There are CDs and DVDs, and a selection of games that promises evenings of fun.

You’ll be close to must-find spots like Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks, Duckett’s Mill, the Chocolate Lounge, the Meadery, and the Alpaca Farm. Pick up farm-fresh vegetables from the nearby roadside stall and enjoy a short hike to indulge at The Dam restaurant.

Let the sunset through the towering karri trees be your evening spectacle. As dusk turns to night, stargaze into the endless sky – a sublime finale to a day of exploration and relaxation.


IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

Due to having a dam (water hole) plus stairs - split level (4 sets of 3 stairs mostly), this property is deemed unsuitable for adults who have mobility issues plus very young children. Please feel free to ask for more details.

Please note that Wooshwood does not have TV reception but there is a small TV & Dvd player available. Dependant on your mobile service may not always have mobile access.

Minimum stay is 3 nights standard periods and 5-7 nights in peak, school holiday periods.

* Making of outside fires is strictly prohibited due to fire safety regulations.

Well Behaved Dogs are welcome by arrangement & acceptance of Pet Policy - see below (Property is fully fenced).

PET POLICY:
Payment of the $80 pet fee.
No cats, 2 dogs maximum (no puppies).
•Only fully house-trained dogs are allowed inside the property.
•Pets are to be of a quiet nature and it is the owner's responsibility to keep noise to a minimum at all times.
•Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable.
•The Guest is responsible for any damage caused by pets whether inside or outside the property.
•Pets are not permitted onto beds or on the furniture at any time.
•Guests agree not to leave pets unsupervised inside the home at any time.
•Guests agree to bring their own pet bedding, food bowls etc.
•Guests must dispose of pet faeces in a clean and sanitary manner.
•Guests should ensure arrangements for pets at a property, including these terms, are suitable for their pet prior to booking.
•If extra cleaning is required or faeces left on lawn, this extra cleaning time will be deducted from the Security Bond.
