Look, I know this is a five star hotel, so you would expect good service… but these guys are absolutely excellent. We arrived on an early flight at 8.30am but they upgraded us so we could check in early for a nap… but only after we had breakfast (breakfast in the morning of arrival is a new one on me!) Flawless, chic and a breakfast so good i don’t even know what to say about it.

Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of a Chinese holiday. Our room was spacious, clean and had a view of the Pudong skyscrapers, including the Pearl. Breakfast was glorious, and the pool facilities fantastic. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and although it's a 15 minute stroll to the nearest metro, it's a very pleasant area.

Excellent building condition and surroundings. They actually even upgraded my parents’ room and gave them a free wine because they waited for additional hours for the actual room to be ready and the hotel was very apologetic of that. The only thing was the breakfast was a bit stale compared to the price, but overall great stay.
