We arrived late at the hotel because of an event, however staff were friendly and booked us in with no fuss. The room was lovely and we have no complaints.
Great location but hotel room very dated. Was informed food on until 2145. Enquired at 2035 to find kitchen closed. Room clean but very dated. Lovely helpful staff
Great little jewel in the heart of Shanklin, service by all hotel team were great. The rooms are outdated but clean throughout. Would say there is a lot of potential. Everything you need is a 5-10minute walk away.
Would I stay again... yes.
The pictures looked good but that's about it really. Decor is 1970,'s. Location was good but expect to pay for parking rather than use the hotel car park unless you have been before. We paid 25.20 for four days parking after being told that the hotel parking was for returning guests only. Although on some days the parking was not full. The cold tap did not work on arrival nor did the flush on the toilet although they did sort it quickly. But if you want a bath expect to wait a while for it to fill up.
The property is vey 70âs, although clean, the room was very hot and stuffy even with the window open all day and night and lacks a fridge, there is one member of the staff (front desk) which talks down to people and isnât very friendly (long blond hair in her 30âs) she has no place working there. Shanklin is a beautiful place, but I wouldnât recommend this hotel.
My mum and i had a lovely stay and everyone was welcoming and friendly.rooms are basic but everything you need for your stay.lovely breakfast and service good.
