Midweek Business stay

The bed and the room were new, clean and comfortable, except I could not control the AC and it was very cold and noisy though the night as it shut on and off. The staff was very nice but the front desk was mostly unattended - they seem to have a staff shortage. I waited a half hour to check-in because no one was there and no one answered the phone. They ran out of waffle batter and, again, there as only one person on both breakfast and the front desk, so they were slow to respond to breakfast needs. The location is ideal and the view of the water, lighthouse and beach is beautiful, also visible from the outdoor dining area.

Room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was extra comfy and lots of pillows. Unfortunately I can't speak to a happy hour\bar for the breakfast. But the room and front staff were excellent. He would stay here again. A walk away from the local beach really good restaurants and bar next door and a walk away from downtown amenities.

There were gnats in the room that we vacuumed up as the lady at the front desk was by herself and busy. The next morning, the room was full of them again. Pool was ok, could use a good cleaning. Breakfast area was ok but could use someone to take care of it as things were out or running out and no one was around to get more.

It’s a bit off the highway which is nice to be close to downtown and the water. So what I’m saying is that the location is great! Bed could have been more supportive but it was okay. I missed breakfast due to the 7:00 am start on the weekends, that was a bit disappointing.

May have been a bit short staffed. Sometimes had to wait for front desk staff and front desk person tried to run the bar at the same time. The staff did allow us to switch rooms to help my mom, which was greatly appreciated! Breakfast good and outside seating great especially at night.
