Our family has stayed here twice in two years now and weâve loved it both times. The house is well appointed with all the things necessary for a comfortable, fun stay. Paul is an excellent host. We will definitely be coming back!
We loved the lake, the house, and the area. So peaceful and quiet. The house was well-stocked and had gorgeous lake views. We especially liked that fact that the linens on the king size bed were percale cotton. I always bring my own nice sheets and didn't even need to use them! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the SUP, kayaks, and fishing gear. Definitely worth it!
The property far exceeded our expectations and was worth the value. Very well stocked, thoughtful provisions- loaded with everything needed for a family at the lake. We already want to go back!
The house was perfect for our situation. Owner was fairly easy to work with. The only thing I would say is that it would be nice if the extra cost per person as well as the total number of people that the original cost per night was for was a little more obvious to see. The house sleeps 8 but the price is only for up to 4 people. I didn't realize until the day before when we had to have someone stay with us that it cost more for more than 4 people. Every other house we have stayed out when using these sorts of sites tell you up front how many people are allowed but really what you need to make sure is that people know how many are allowed at the rate quoted when you are looking at different properties to rent.
We have been to thais property multiple times. We keep coming back because it is so wonderful. They truly have all you need there! From kayaks and a pedal boat, to life jackets (in sizes kids-adults), to the super comfortable cabin. The neighborhood is so quiet too. And its located at the end of the lake, so kayaking is great because of limited motor boat traffic!
This property had everything for all ages. It was our first big family vacation with our 22 month old grandson. The water was beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable and had everything you needed. This easily will be a yearly trip for my family. Thanks to Paul for being an amazing host!
You never know exactly what youâll get stuck with when you are looking for rentalsâŠput your mind at ease with this lakeside house. It will not disappoint nor will you have to spend your time running to the store for incidentals. The house is well stocked and lets you concentrate on relaxing. The house is well taken care of and clean. For a small lake house, the space feels cozy. We had 5 (mostly) adults for the bulk of the time, sometimes 6 and we did not feel like we were on top of each other.
Paul is such a wonderful host. And this property truly is a little slice of heaven. You hardly need to bring a thing, besides food and some cold beer. The assortment of life jackets is very inclusive (little kids to big & tall adults). The lake is amazing, as are all the kind neighbors. Paul makes sure there is fishing gear available, stand up paddle boards, a pedal boat, kayaks, etc.
You Must stay here at least once! This was our 4th time. And we have already scheduled our 5th stay.
We just returned for our vacation at Lost Lake and this house exceeded every expectation!
The house had plenty of room, updated kitchen and bathrooms and the AC worked great because it was over 90 degrees during our stay! The house had everything you needed to feed and entertain your family and the lake view and access was second to none! The dock worked great for my 17â boat and we enjoyed playing with all the kayaks and paddle board provided. The shed by the dock had life jackets and even had fishing poles to use! There was plenty of parking for my extended family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would not hesitate recommending this place to anyone! This place has it all!
We had a wonderful stay. Easy check-in process with lots of communication. House was fully stocked, especially the kitchen! Made cooking for a group of adults a breeze. We had a good time fishing from the dock between rain showers and we were even able to enjoy a fire. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in showers was good!
This home was the perfect place for hosting our adult only weekend. We look forward to returning!
We wanted to get away for a few days to rest and recuperate, and this place delivered wonderfully. We spent a lot of time down lounging at the gazebo, fishing off the dock, and stargazing at night. We particularly appreciated the AC on the day it got over 90. Paul was also very responsive - when we couldnât get something going as past tenants left it in a weird state, he called immediately to walk us thru getting it working again.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property. We were all in and out of the water throughout the day. It was fabulous to have the water toys and we used them all. We swam across the lake, kayaked around the entire lake and enjoyed looking at the homes and scenery. The water was a great temperature, clear and so refreshing. The house was awesome and had everything we needed. The only suggestion we would have liked is a patio table and umbrella for dining. Paul is a very responsive and organized host.
Amazing lake view from this comfortable house! The lake is really beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen has everything you need including things like oil, spices, coffee and filters. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels.
This was my 3rd time staying at the Cabin at Lost Lake. My sisters and I take their kiddos with us (ages 5 & 8yrs old). Everyone has so much fun there. There is so much to do for Everyone! They provide all you need to have a great vacation. I love that they have kayaks, a pedal boat and a stand up paddle board, as well as tons of life jackets available to use. And if it rains, there are lots of dvds and games to play inside. Plus the neighbors are all nice, and there is even a neighbor dog that often comes to visit! I highly recommend this vrbo to everyone! Paul is a great host and is always available to help with questions/issues should they arise.
The house was clean and very orderly. It was convenient how they had everything labeled. This was the perfect size for our group. Great access to the lake!
The property is very nice both the house and the land which fronts on a beautiful lake. Kitchen was great, beds were good, nice touch with a covered picnic table, and there were lots of toys to enjoy the water. Dock is very convenient. We hope to return next fall.
