The location is the best thing about my stay there

This property is historic, that's the only reason we considered staying there. I don’t know where to start…. The property is so ran down….. carpet is so dirty it needs to be replaced, hot water in the shower took about 5 minutes to get to the shower head. The Bar on Friday night had 1 couple in there. The Dining room has 2 sets of people at 6:00 pm….we decided to eat elsewhere. The owners should be embarrassed….
This broken chair was in our room…..we paid $220 for 1 night….. there are other options…

Not the nice place it used to be

The front desk guy was rude and clearly didn't want to be there. I think the room had been cleaned somewhat, but it didn't look quite ready for a new guest. I could not get hot water in the shower and could not get cold water in the sink! It appears they have done some updating, but as cheaply as possible. Sadly, I doubt that I'll stay there again.

The family was excited to stay at the Copper Queen Hotel. Really easy check in and out, staff was super nice. But, the beds in our room were not comfortable at all, which made for a sleepless night.

Restaurant is only open seasonal, continental breakfast doesn’t start till 8am. Staff was nice . Place is clean but run down. Room was so tiny the door couldn’t open all the way because it hit the bed.

They never informed us that dining was closed fir the season. Elevator broken but they put us on the third floor even though they had plenty of open rooms. Coffee maker was broken took them over an hour to replace. No chair in the room. HIstoric, but Place needs a serious refurb. Feels neglected.

My stay at the Copper Queen was fantastic! The hotel is very clean and well-kept, with an incredible sense of history that makes it truly unique. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. I especially loved the mix of charm and spooky fun the hotel is known for; it really added to the experience. A memorable and enjoyable stay!

Checked in and learned both the restaurant & bar were closed. Room was small, and it was an "upgrade". Dirty bathroom - LOTS of ants!!! Took too long to get hot water for showering. Mattress needs replacing. No elevator - no handicap access and lots of stairs. Will never book there again. AND. . . just learned today that on 8/29/25 (a day after we left) they used my CC to take $287.63 !!!!!!!!!!!

Nice night

Check in was disorganized due to computer going down. We were placed in someone else's room, found out after a couple of hours. Hotel straightened out the problem with no disruption to our stay. Beautiful, old hotel. Elevator was out of service, inconvenient for handicapped person staying on the 3rd floor. Hotel had us park out in back which was better accomodation for our room. After dark that path was unlit and not very smooth. Overall, we were happy with our stay.
