Great view. Room condition can be better

The view from the room is fantastic! Noise insulation is good, quiet - you can’t hear neighbours nor outside corridor. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. It was flat and sinks down completely with no support. Now we both have stiff necks after sleeping on it. The room looks abit tired and have seen better days. There were a lot of dink marks and patch-up works on the wooden laminate floor and bathroom counter top. The knob of the bathroom shower faucet also came loose. We had to fix it back in in order to switch shower from rain shower to the handheld. This is not my first time in Swissôtel. Previous stays-rooms were in much better condition. Overall stay was still good but would have been awesome if room condition didn’t look so tired this time.

I booked the executive room which has a fantastic view of some of the iconic structures of Singapore. The room is spacious, the bathroom is clean and the amenities are great. Breakfast buffet was okay, could add some more options. But overall, it’s a wonderful experience.

The location is superb. We got to watch the SG60 rehearsal right from our balcony. The MRT station is literally downstairs. However, we enjoyed 12-30 minutes’ walks to most attractions such as the Merlion Park, the Gardens By the Bay, the Fort Canning Park, Chinatown, etc. We will come to stay here again in the future.

Did not appreciate the self check in process. They might want to audit how many end up requiring assistance. Computer did not recognise my booking number from hotels.com. I often appreciate the human touch when I check in. Depends on whether they want to be a business hotel or a luxury hotel. The rooms are spacious, beds comfy and bathrooms well appointed. No separate shower in my room so those with mobility issues may want to check their room layout if they have mobility issues. I liked the glass bottle provided to store water for your stay. Had some hiccups regarding the view for my room Category. Did not have this issue in my previous stays with the same hotel. That started my stay in a slightly unhappy note. They should have a restricted view category so we know to avoid those like in concerts. Booked this staycay as part of my annual trip to view the fireworks. So it started on a slightly stressful note.

The premium king plus room was facing Marina Bay and it was very spacious. Everything was well provided. Especially love the check in process which was smooth abd welcoming. Highly recommend!

The views from the room are far superior than many of the other properties nearby. The room was nicely laid out and spacious and the hotel connects directly to the mall which gives you access to many great places to eat and shop. Everything was walkable from the hotel and our party did many foot trips around to Chinatown, suntec, Clarke quay, marina bay sands, Bugis street, and the esplanade all without the use of a taxi

Very hard to check in especially when all the machines are used and assisted by the check-in staff, after a long flight, you want quick check in but a mature staff helped me right away. Everything was perfect and food and shopping was great in the mall area and the museums close by. Enjoyed my stay.
