The property was unique. Rooms were clean. Host was responsive to questions. Property was in close walking distance to businesses and town center. Laundry was available and used by all. Our 2 yr old granddaughter really enjoyed the fairy doors on the path in the woods.

This is our 4th rental in Door County, and by far, our favorite. We had 6 adults and 4 kids ranging from 3 to 10. In the week we stayed, we only used about 85% of the bells and whistles available to us. Pros: location adjacent to downtown Sister Bay, 4th bedroom for the kids was great, amazingly well stocked kitchen, very good AC system, tastefully decorated, great TV for kids, great response to questions by manager, comfortable beds in master suite and larger downstairs bedroom, well equipped baths with good towels, plenty of hot water and water pressure, nice showers, description was on-target so no surprises, nice to be able to put two cars in the garage, good wifi, check-in and check-out were easy, kids liked game room. Only cons were minimal. Two beds in smaller bedroom downstairs are pretty soft and uncomfortable. Might consider swapping the two beds in the smaller bedroom with the king bed in the larger bedroom downstairs. Master bedroom has a very high ceiling with two large windows and no blinds so you'd better like getting up early. Can get very bright. Wood floors were pretty dirty when we arrived but cleaning mop was available for use. Otherwise unit was clean. Bring bug spray! We'll probably be back when we go to Door County.

Great Location and Space

The property is beautiful and within walking distance to all the spots in Sister Bay. The air conditioning works great and the property is well stocked. Check in was easy and the garage fits two cars easily. There are foam floaties, 2 paddle boards, 8 lifejackets and about 12 beach chairs. We went to the beach and swam everyday. There is a hot tub, but we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. It looked great though! The property manager was communicative and would check in with us. Overall, excellent experience.

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked. It's also the perfect mix of secluded while still being walking distance to all the cute shops, restaurants, and the public beach. Our only complaint was that we wished we could stay longer!

Quick Getaway

Great fall getaway. The house is very spacious. The kids loved the game room and the hot tub. Our youngest enjoyed looking for the fairies in the woods. Close to the center of Sister Bay, but very private given location.

Great Spring Break Trip!

This was a wonderful house to stay at for our spring break vacation. We love Sister Bay and the location is awesome!! Even though there isn't a ton to do in Door County in March, this house made it a very memorable trip. We had tons of foosball matches, tons of time in the hot tub, Pac man playing time, game night at the kitchen table and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The house has plenty of space and has almost anything you would need. The host made sure we got checked in and reminded us about check out time and things we needed to do before we left. If I needed anything he got back to me in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great Stay!

Our young family of 4 and furry friend, enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the modern layout of the home, and found it comforting and restful with the snowy landscape surrounding us. It was a great place to just stay inside and enjoy rest as a family, yet with easy access to restaurants as well. The large windows let in light and made one feel pleasantly secluded in nature. It was hard to see the trails in the snow, but we enjoyed walking through the property and exploring. It was very clean, had games and some interesting books to look through, and a retro keyboard and arcade games the kids enjoyed. We appreciated the effort put into the artistic style of the home, down to the mugs. The only recommendations we have are to include bars of soap for each bathroom, to have some tea bags available (we purchased some and left a few), a tea kettle for the stove (the hot pot looked like it was misused for making coffee), and metal pots that don't use anti-stick coating (they're toxic and worrisome to use).

Winter Fun !!

My family and I had a great time spending the holidays in door county. The property was amazing and close to everything. We were able to walk downtown into sister bay for dinner, drinks and shopping. Will definitely be booming again

Perfect for our girls get away

The house was not only beautiful, but also so conviently located to downtown sister bay. We enjoyed our stay so much with the hot tub, fire pit, and large living area for our group. Would definately book again!

Jackpot in Sister Bay

Perfect stay from start to finish. Hands down one of the nicest rental homes we’ve ever stayed in, and truly a one of a kind in Door County. The location is unbeatable, to have a private home in the woods walking distance to downtown Sister Bay. Very thoughtful amenities in the home made for an effortless stay, like the Bluetooth speakers, chargers, games, and the pack n play and kids toys. We will definitely be back!

Great Expectations, Mixed Realities

We had a good, though not great, stay at this property. Its location is fantastic—just minutes from Sister Bay’s marina and downtown, making exploration easy. The game room was a fun addition for family time, and the outdoor fire table was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The large dining room table comfortably accommodated everyone for meals and games. However, there were a few quirks to get used to. The number of light switches was overwhelming, and it wasn’t always clear which switch controlled which light. The heating and cooling system, using ductless wall mounts and electric heat, kept the place cozy but required some balancing. There are stairs to the downstairs area, which were challenging for our “seasoned” family members, as well as steps from the main entry to the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Notable Maintenance Issues 1. Blocked Dryer Vent: The dryer indicated a 90% blocked vent. Despite contacting the assistant property manager, no maintenance arrived. My husband confirmed it was clogged, so we couldn’t do any more laundry due to fire risks. 2. Hot Tub Issues: The hot tub, initially fine, had cloudy water and an odd odor by Day 2. We were told an emergency cleaning would cost $200 and wouldn’t be ready until the evening. There were no visible chemicals for maintenance, raising health concerns, and the assistant property manager couldn't specify what was used. She promised to follow up but never did, leaving the hot tub unusable.

Sister Bay Weekend

This was a fantastic place to stay in door county. Great location- easy, short walk to town of Sister Bay. Beautiful home, clean and well appointed. Easy to communicate with owner. I would stay here again, and I’m not usually one to repeat a stay!
