Excellent B&B and pub with lovely beer garden. Close to transport and amenities. Room was spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality with lots of choice.
The end is a very old building in the center of town. We had no idea that it would be so busy around the Inn. Our room was so hot, and the window couldnât open very far due to it hitting a downspout pipe. We had two fans running all night and it was a difficult sleep. Also, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were hard and flat. The breakfast Was good
Absolute perfection - such a friendly, welcoming space - rooms are compact but so charming, comfortable and has everything you need! Food just wow!! The staff were always smiling, made you feel like you had known them forever! Cannot recommend this place enough đ
A beautiful room, which was exceptionally clean.
Breakfast choice was great and their black pudding really is the best ewe will ever have!
Fortunate to be able to get a table for friends staying nearby to join us for a fantastic meal!
Would definitely stay again.
Loved everything about this very traditional English pub. Small bedroom- but comfortable bed. Restaurant food was superb. Beer wa excellent. Central Skipton location. Parking was easy ( round the back ) A true historic classic pub.
Lovely stay and staff were fab! Only things were the hairdryer in the room was quite dirty and about to give up and our water/milk/tea didnât get refreshed. Minor things that didnât spoil our stay at all and would definitely return.
A one night birthday trip. Staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. Room comfortable if a little small. Room was very warm but solved by turning off the heat and opening the window. My only recommendation would be for the waiting staff to bring out the required knives for meals. Had soup and a roll with whipped butter but no knife to spread butter, also had steak again no steak knife. Both had to be requested. Small details like this are unimportant but would make things more amazing.
We were treated for a 1 night stay as a gift so we decided to add on 1 more night good decision the staff are so helpful friendly and cant do enough for you nothing is too much bother the food is homecooked well presented and delicious the woolly sheep is a quirky old building with lots of character a fabulous covered outdoor area which will be amazing in the better weather as the roof goes back to make it an open top area, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a lovely modern style and colours kingsize comfortable bed for a good nights sleep situated in the charming village of Skipton with lots of historical sites and places of interest highly recommended credit were credit is due we will be back.....
Stayed a few times, always excellent. Rooms, food, beer, staff, canât fault anything. Not cheap, but worth it. Evening meal was excellent, restaurant quality as opposed to pub grub.
