It was clean and did the trick, but it definitely could use some TLC. It was old and outdated, and several items were neglected. I'm sure they could find a balance between new/modern and rustic. Several "quick" fix items existed too: repaint vent covers, address some rust, etc. The bed was also really firm/quite uncomfortable. The convenience of the lodge was great, but other than that, it didn't have much going for it.

The room had a wonderful view of nature with large windows. There was a full breakfast, but we were only expecting a continental. The building and rooms are dated but very clean and well maintained. We'll return.

Cabin shower had no shampoo in the container. The blinds don’t all work and are in disrepair which lessened the ability to open them to see the beautiful scenery. The refrigerator is rusty on the outside so hard to tell if the kitchen was clean. Beds were comfortable and the staff were great!! The continental breakfast would have been great if there were protein options that were hot. It was less substantial than a general hotel continental breakfast and being it was served in the resort, was not as expected. Did have a great time despite the items mentioned.
