The house was clean and the backyard deck was a great place to unwind. The couch was so low to the ground and was unusable for us. If anyone else would have stayed with us, there would have been nowhere to store belongings. The shower appeared to be broken or had extremely low water pressure.
Nice cozy cabin located really close to bethel performing arts center. The beds were comfy and the overall look of the place was as pictured. Amanda was responsive to all of our inquiries. The low couch was a little different and could be problematic if youâre older but was fine for us. The grill and the hot tub also made it a really great place to chill before the show we went to see.
we loved the house, it was located close to a wedding we were attending. the owner was communicative and a pleasure to interact with. the home has a really cool vibe and we were incredibly happy with everything.
Cozy, cute little home we enjoyed very much. Great location to our sonâs Spartan race, they appreciated the short drive, especially after & the hot tub for sore legs! The owner was so responsive to all questions & gave us tips of the area:) Would definitely go back & recommend to others! Also agree with others, Big Kevs bbq was so delicious!
We had a great time staying here. It was a little too cold to really enjoy the hot tub but the house was nice and we love the area. Definitely check out Forage Pizza about 20 minutes away.
We had a wonderful few days ringing in the New Year in Smallwood/Bethel at this adorable home. It's even better than the photos and provided a really special venue to hibernate, cook, binge-watch Netflix, and take a dip in the hot tub. For "off-campus" activities, I highly recommend the Sullivan O&W Rail Trails, which are former railroads-turned-hiking trails that we really loved.
Amanda was a great host and very responsive to messages. The rental was cute, and styled in a modern farmhouse/boho vibe with art and faux plants that made us feel right at home. It had a lot of nice touches like: Nespresso machine with pods and frother, tea brewer, water filter, slippers, toothbrushes, plenty of cozy blankets, and an adorable mini electric fireplace. The deck was large and had a gas grill and outdoor furniture. It was nice that the outdoor furniture was covered so when the weather improved we could use. We were surprised when having a late dinner outside that they had a firework display over the lake the day before Labor Day. Was a nice surprise to watch fireworks while we ate. The hot tub was covered so we were able to use even when it rained. The walk about mountain lake in the neighborhood was nice. Everyone in the neighborhood was very nice. There is a lot of natural light with the windows but they have blinds for sleeping. It was quiet at nice and we slept very well.
We explored around the area and these were our favorites stops. Big Kevs for BBQ, Sticky Fingers for the creamiest ice cream we have every had, Bethel Woods Festival, Bethel Creamery for milking tour and farm stand milk and yogurts, Forest Reserve for hiking/dog park (but learned NOT TO TAKE MAPLE TRAIL as the markings fall off and we got lost), Upward Brewery for hiking beer mountain/brewery, and the farmers markets in Narrowsburg for veggies, fruits, cheese, bread, etc.
This stay was perfect from start to finish. The house fit us perfectly with more amenities than we could use on a weekend! The proximity to Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center made attending a two-night concert seamless. Unwinding after the show in the hot tub and having meals on the deck beat camping in a field any day! I wish we had more time/energy to use the grill and bikes, but his neighborhood is gorgeous. We ate lunch at the lake before heading home and are most gracious to have slept well before hours of traffic. Stay here! Hospitality is pristine.
This property was perfect for a weekend away to watch Phish for 3 nights at Bethel Woods. The location in a quiet, pretty neighborhood along with the amazing accommodations and quick drive to the venue couldnât have been better. We loved soaking in the hot tub, mimosas in hand, as we watched Olympic soccer, prepared for another night at the venue, and relaxed after a night of dancing. Amanda was responsive and helpful and we plan to look this house up again the next time we travel down for a show!
Property was even better than in pictures. Very clean and well stocked with everything one may need. Communicating with Amanda was very easy and super quick. Would definitely recommend if looking for a cozy, yet quality cabin in Monticello area, look no further.
Beautiful little cottage. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Very grateful for all the games, spent all day playing because it rained. Short distance to Bethel Woods for the concert that we enjoyed.. Would definitely love to stay here again.
The home was lovely! It was clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see the hostess provided slippers, sealed toothbrushes and fresh towels in each bedroom. The kitchen area was nice and organized. Great touch with the coffee pods and creamers. The yard space was also great, the weather didnât allow us to enjoy the fire pit until the last day (I wasnât too comfortable with the fire pit area because it was on uneven ground and it felt unsafe) but thatâs my only complaint from the experience. The hostess was very nice and contacted me a few times to ensure we were enjoying our stay and were doing well.
We stayed to attend a concert at Bethel Woods the location was perfect and we were so pleased. The walk around the beautiful lake was so pretty and the cabin was so comfortable. Thank you!
I really enjoyed staying in this sparkling clean, comfortable house with a huge private deck that is surrounded by beautiful trees. I loved resting in the hot tub with a cold beer and walking around the peaceful wooded neighborhood. Will definitely be back!
This cottage was accurate to the website pictures. Really great outdoor deck area. My dogs were safely contained while we enjoyed the hot tub and TV. Location to Bethel woods center perfect for a concert weekend. Very well designed living room and kitchen. Would have preferred more comfortable couches and chairs in LR but the room is aesthetically very pretty. Also, no dressers in bedrooms but there is a closet in each one to hang clothes. Bathroom is tiny, toilet is very close to tub. Check out the BBQ truck down the road and also the organic gardener table. We only ate there. The Dollar General is well stocked for food and refreshments. There is a supermarket but apparently itâs seasonal. Itâs a good little place and I would still recommend it.
Thereâs a few things that I must emphasize that made the Lennon cabin a great experience. We stayed there to celebrate my daughterâs first birthday, as a family. The house was great, comfy, clean and cool. Firstly ,the nespresso machine made me feel rich and the coffee was amazing! The hot tub was definitely a bonus and we watched the playoffs while relaxing. We brought some steaks and were able to use the grill (on the beautiful back deck) but the local food was good too. Kevâs bbq (5 min away) was delicious!
The location made it easy to get around- The first stop was Buck Brook Farms (a petting farm/about 30 min drive/$10 pp ) so my baby could meet llamas and a bunch of other farm animals. Then we stopped by the Woodstock museum, which was about a 10 minute drive. They have weekly concerts in the summer! White lake was about 5 min away and very Serene. To finish our adventure we rented bikes at fortress bike and did a 10 mile trail ($20 for 2 hours pp and about 25 min drive away). Dollar store was also 5 away to get a few snacks and a few things we forgot.
The house was clean and had a minimalist , eclectic vibe. We were greeted with a birthday banner hung by Amanda ,the host, which totally melted my heart. The cabin was family/baby friendly but could be booked for a couple get away as well. Iâd recommend a stay here to anyone and I will definitely be back!! Thanks again Amandaâ€ïž
