First off, i picked this place becasue of location. IMO best location. I have stayed at this hotel 5 times in the last ten years. it seems to me, with every stay, the place looks worse and offers less than before. New ownership etc. Used to be the best in town and now it has that old musty hotel odor. Will i stay here next time , i come to Sofia, most likely..

Balkan hotel overall good, still some kinks in renovated rooms. Ppl at the front desk super!! Buss ppl very helpful. Informed hotel about coffee maker not working… replaced right away.

Stay was good, but lights not all working. Refrig also not on… no visible plugin. Coffee maker had to be replaced… nonfunctional. Shower gel & conditioners… plungers not working… couldn’t release plunger to work.
