When the agent arrived, she stated the hotel had been without hot water for over a week and apologized for not disclosing this upfront, yet refused any refund or compensation. The response was dismissive and became defensive when the issue was raised. Hot water is a basic lodging requirement in New Jersey, especially in winter, and guests should be clearly informed before booking.
