Honeymoon

We stayed for our honeymoon and itnwas our first stop in Italy. We loved our stay! Right in the heart of Sorrento, easy to walk everywhere. Waking distance to the train to Pompeii and Napoli. Walking distance to the port for ferry services. We loved the bath tub on our patio after our long days of exploring. The morning breawas excellent, full service with an amazing rooftop view We would definitely come back. Highly recommend staying here

We had an unforgettable stay at the Palazzo Martinelli Hotel in Sorrento, Italy! This charming boutique hotel has only 10 beautifully unique rooms, each named after a classic Italian song—ours was ’O Sole Mio, which added such a special, personal touch. The location is perfect, right in the center of town, close to everything. What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service. Laura was amazing—warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome. A hidden gem in Sorrento—highly recommended!

Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Taxi stands are only a couple hundred yards away and the same with the train station. Parking is not easy and can be hard to find. The staff was friendly and helpful but don't be in a hurry.

The property was very safe due to multiple security layers. The rock tunnel entrance was quite cool! Rooms were great spacious and clean! The only issue was our window view was an old overgrown abandoned playground. Probably nothing the hotel could do about it at all but it was unexpected when we opened the window to such a nice hotel room.

This is a new, very small hotel (10 rooms). They are working out the kinks. Breakfast doesn’t exactly run smoothly yet. The rooms are very nicely done with all the amenities one would like.

Our stay was exceptional from the outset, with a helpful and friendly check in experience, tasty breakfasts with a variety of options (including made to order omelets/crepes/pancakes), and helpful house staff. This is a small facility so has that personal touch that larger hotel facilities cannot offer. The location is exceptional, steps from the central shopping and restaurant location in Sorrento. The main marina and ferry stop is also nearby and an easy walk (10 minutes). We received great recommendations for dinner locations, shopping and wine bars from Catia (our hotel desk staff) who went out of her way to make sure we were having a great stay. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, clean, bright and quiet. Our rooms had nice outdoor patios with seating area and outdoor spa bath as well. The value is great considering the price to experience. We will be returning on our next stay in Sorrento!

Great, all around

We had a beautiful room with a great comfortable bed. It was located in a convenient part of town and an easy walk from the port and restaurants. We had a delicious breakfast each morning served on the top floor with a beautiful view. Highly recommend.

Loved this property! I was arriving late in the evening and they helped me set up a check-in that was seamless. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely—with eggs and omelettes made to order. The hotel is also right in Sorrento Center so everything is easily walkable— but I never heard the noise from outside.

Palazzo Martinelli was wonderful! We stayed for 4 nights and it was excellent. Amazing staff and delicious breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. The hotel was quaint but very modern and beautifully appointed. Our room was large with a beautiful terrace.
