Terrible hotel, do not stay here!
After 12 hrs of driving to get home from our family vacation, I checked us into this hotel and was met with a terrible odor in the main lobby area and some sketchy people in the lobby. The elevator was rickety and there were bags of trash outside other rooms. In the room one of the beds had sheets with a hole/tear in them and was missing the cushion in the bay window which was supposed to be where our 3rd child was to sleep for the night. We asked the front desk for additional pillows and bedding to have that child sleep on the floor between the beds and the bedding was dingy looking and stained. The walls were dirty throughout the room and bathroom. Then when I was helping my son get his shower set up, I removed the shower bench and found pink and brown mildew and filth under the bench that I cleaned up myself. When I turned on the hand held shower head, the water just trickled down the handle and would not spray out. We all needed to shower before bed so that was not acceptable. When I called the front desk about the shower and asked for a different room, we were informed this was the last room available. So we left and asked for full refund. I have never left a hotel before, so I feel like I'm pretty easy going, but this one was bad. I cannot understand how this hotel had the ratings that it had on this site. Hotels.com did call them after and they were able to give us a full refund with the hotels permission so that was good at least. Worst hotel ever!
