ND Game Weekend - Bummer

We spent a substantial nightly rate for 2 nights, and were very disappointed by the lack of service and responsiveness. They refused to give us extra towels when requested. They committed a rollaway bed but then told us it was not available. The room had a musty smell. Further, the gentleman at the front desk was rude to my wife. Just not a pleasant environment, especially considering the huge premium we paid for game weekend.

I love staying at this hotel but so far every time ive stayed the deposit goes up!!!!! This time i was told the deposit was 250.00!!!!! The time before that it was only 10.00 and the other time it was 100.00!!!! Thats the only problem i have with this hotel! 250.00 for a deposit is RIDICULOUS! I TOLD HER I ONLY HAD A 150.00 SO SHE TOOK THAT BUT THATS CRAZY

Comfortable but dated

The hotel is large and there are various amenities which we appreciated! The hotel is dated and it seems like they are trying to save money by being stingy with items. For instance, we only had two towels for our room that could accommodate four people, we had one spoon and one fork. There was no bedding for the pull out sofa until we asked and then we had to go and wait for the front desk to find some for us. A portion of molding just dropped off the bottom of the counter during our stay and there was a weird stain or growth in the bathtub that was gross. There was also no sponge to wash our one dish with although there was dishwashing liquid. Other than the weird spot in the tub the room was clean and comfortable.

Loved how spacious the room was. The pool was nice but it was not easy getting in and out. I had to swipe my card multiple times and the doors to get outside were not working. You had to place a rock in the doorway to enter back in. The staff was very nice and there was quite a variety for breakfast. Other than the pool issues, it was very nice!
