This condo complex is in an awesome location. However, for the high price I was disappointed in the lack of details and amenities offered. Usually for a unit on the lake like this, the unit might offer a couple beach chairs and umbrella. While there were lounge chairs on the beach for sharing, I expected a few more beach items for a family sized unit. Also, there were no oven mitts or plastic cups/cutlery for children in the kitchen, and one kitchen towel for a week. And as a note for anyone with very small children, the main staircase is made of stone and very narrow, and the stairs to the loft have holes in between the stairs that a baby can fall through. Also, thereâs a low window in the main floor bedroom with a lose screen a child can fall through and a hole under the railing on the balcony a child can fall through- I donât know how these pass code. My husband and I joked it was a death trap. Other than having to block off all those areas, the bedrooms and living room are comfortable.
Note that you have to check in at a different location than the unit is located, and they wouldnât allow us to check in 45 minutes early (didnât try to radio housekeeping or anything, just said they donât allow check in prior to 4pm).
In summary, I would definitely stay in a condo in Lakeview Village again, but would likely look for a different one that has been updated and is better appointed, and also ideally wouldnât want to go through Vacasa AND vrbo as you end up paying double booking/management fees which is annoying.
