Lovely stay in a peaceful setting. I loved the mattress on the bed, it was so comfortable. We spent some time on the beautiful beach, a perfect Lake Superior spot.
Youâve experienced woods, wildlife, waves and Lake Superior all in one location? Here is where I was able to unplug, meditate, breathe, and enjoy nature. Porcupine trail let me practice the art of Forest Bathing and led me to serene views of Lake Superior and its serenity of waves. Definitely a great way to relax after a busy school year. Iâll be back!!
I left a review in the cabin and really enjoyed my stay. My only disappointment was that due to my social obligations (my long time friend was celebrating his 50th birthday and pressing cider) I was unable to find time to explore the beautiful woods. Additionally a mor e private shower or bathroom would be great. On the last day I went to shower but the menâs area was full of women doing whatever they needed which was fine I guess but I had to skip bathing and just went back to use my pit toilet before I left for Minneapolis.
We had a great stay! The cabin was lovely, and it was a perfect option to spend some time surrounded by nature with small children. We will definitely be back!
Weâre from NC and we were looking for something remote but still comfortable enough since we have kids and we had to drive so far. This place exceeded our expectations! Just enough space for a family of 4! We enjoyed the quiet privacy and daily walks to Lake Superior! Thank you Camp Amnicon for a wonderful memory with my family!
Cabin was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Was nice and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay. The outhouse was nice really liked the fact that there was a light switch inside to turn the light on at night. Only downfall was the outhouse needs either a vent or deodorizer.
