The Deck 2 concept is great. The little cabin like houses are very aesthetically appealing on the inside and outside and the boardwalks connecting everything is also great. It is really cool to be able to walk over the pond and all over the area. Julie and Vanessa were great hosts - very responsive. Being off of rt. 6 is the only downside so as someone who loves to get up and walk or cycle in the morning it turned out to be best to drive down road to the Welfleet entrance of the Cape Code Rail Trail and then there are two great bakeries to enjoy either before or after! The location is near so many fun and/or beautiful things to do!
Very nice well stocked clean and cozy rental in Wellfleet. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. The location is excellent for getting to national seashore, ponds, and bay side beaches . Had a great time exploring the Dunes in Provincetown. Five minutes from a french bakery/cafe for pastries and coffee. The mini-split worked perfectly. The high ceilings made the home very comfortable. Overall excellent accommodations for a great trip.
The house is lovely and we liked the community of houses and the walkways. Our bedroom and the loft were both very comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice, and in general the house was very nicely furnished.
We found the kitchen quite small so that only 1 person can work there at a time. We were also disappointed in the gas grill which seemed not strong enough to cook our meals,. But Julie is looking into that problem and I'm sure will fix it.
Due to its proximity to Rte 6, the outside could be noisy, but the back deck is quieter than the front one. Also, we were never disturbed in our sleep; and the neighbors were all very quiet too.
All in all, it is a very nice house and convenient to everything!
We really enjoyed our stay at Julie's cottage! The space is well thought out, furnished and stocked with quality amenities. Convenietly located, and nestled in a wooded area with a charming boardwalk for exploring. Would definitely return!
