Room was really cold and the heater we were given was not adequate. the shower head was covered in black mould . The furniture was badly chipped and worn. Continental breakfast was terrible and not as shown in your advertisement.
Mould on shower head. Worried about catching legionnaire disease.

Staff were friendly, very easy check in. Breakfast was much better than I expected with both hot and cold food items. The room was clean but the bed could have been a bit more comfortable. It was in a prime location both for the cruise port and bus station and shops.

Very disappointed - room was old fashioned - TV rubbish never been dusted underneath. Bath tap rusty. In bar no gin, no Rose wine, no Prosecco White wine not cool enough. Restaurant closed (no notice of this). Will never use again or recommend to anyone

Check in staff pleasant & welcoming. My first room allocated to me was already occupied. Opened door to find dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom. There was a suitcase in the room & cups had been used. As I left the guests allocated this room arrived. They were very surprised to find me leaving their room. They were annoyed as their room keys didn’t work as the key I was given cancelled theirs. Returned to reception with all my luggage to be allocated a vacant room. Room & bed looked clean. Furniture was very tatty. Edges of desk looked like it had been used to open beer bottles. All the melamine stripped away. Windows ill fitting allowing in the rain. Not air conditioned. Windows only opened partially. Extremely warm room. Woke up to find condensation running down the panes of glass. Woke up in a bath of sweat despite sleeping au natural. Check out smooth. You get what you pay for. This place needs air conditioning & a refurb.

Pre cruise stay

Basic but perfectly fitted our needs for a pre cruise stay. Very close to port and short walk to west quay

It was fine for the night before a cruise. The next morning it was only a short walk (about half a mile) to the Horizon terminal, we could already see our ship out of the room window. If I were going to the City or other, further, cruise terminals, I'd use a taxi or get a nearer hotel. The plughole had a little lever behind the tap, but that was jammed, which would have made shaving difficult if I had bothered, and I wasn't keen on the shower, but I have an excellent one at home, so I'm biased.

It was a ok hotel but when we went for breakfast at 9.15 they hadn't kept up with refilling, eggs gone sausage gone hash brown's gone , water for tea came out brown, cappuccino just sending out warm milk.
