The ceiling in the room has a lot of black dirt and grime. It’s unclear if the room was previously vandalized. Could they inspect the ceiling and re-paint it if needed? When lying on the bed, that's what you see above, and there's concern it might fall while you're sleeping. However, the staff are all friendly.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable, but the hallways are abysmal. Very long corridors, linoleum flooring, drains for some reason, dehumidifiers running, and nothing on the walls. In other words, absolutely no ambiance. It was like walking into an insane asylum.

The outside looks appealing but as soon as you get inside it’s a dump. No elevator,carpet on the stairs is dirty and ragged. All the room doors were chipped and dirty. The room wasn’t cleaned properly but the bathroom was ok. I’ve always had good stays at Microtel but this is a dumb

Top 5 worst stays ever

Our stay was unacceptable and between the hotel and hotels.com are refusing to give me my money back due to the fact that I had no choice but to stay in that hotel room because I’m not going to go and find another room at a different hotel at 3 o’clock in the morning. We moved to three different rooms. Two rooms had cockroaches in it and the third room. The floors were sticky and nasty. I would not advise to stay in this hotel or use hotels.com if you have problems and want a refund.
