Excellent maintenance service!

We used the washer and dryer this trip, and had to run the dryer twice to get clothes dry. The next day the maintenance cleaned the lent tub that he said was clogged and returned the money for the cost of running it twice!

Walls very thin, you hear everything right outside the entrance door and your window. I'm on first floor so I'm sure higher you go quiet it is. Sketch crowd from Myrtle Beach area will attempt to stay and drug deals occasionally happen outside the window again on 1st floor.

Average Hotel Experience

My wife and I stayed here with our in-laws and their baby (separate rooms). They are from another country. We were taking them to the coast for the first time and this hotel is convenient to where all we were going. The bed was OK and the room was overall OK. The AC worked good and so did the TV. The pool was good although it's only 5' deep and there is no hot tub. However, our room had a couple of other issues. 1 - The mini-fridge did not work. It was plugged in but was standing awkward like a piece was missing at the bottom and then it would not power on. I informed the front desk of this and they said maintenance is not on-site to resolve this and our only option would be to change rooms. I asked if they could just swap a working fridge from an unused room to this one and they said no. It was not convenient to pack everything up and move again so we remained where we were. 2 - The shower would not drain. If you stood in the shower for even 5 minutes it would start filling up and you'd be standing in your own filth soon after. 3 - The breakfast was just not good. I only saw one staff member so perhaps she is swamped, but they were out of hot food so no eggs and the sausage was very limited. The pancake batter was empty so no pancakes, and just misc. things were low or gone. It was disappointing that our in-laws could not experience a better breakfast, as well as ourselves. Overall, it's definitely not our best stay. Not the worst either. Not sure if we'll stay again.

The staff were outstanding, all of them we encountered. the outside of the hotel was a little dirty. There was construction right in front of the hotel making it hard to get out in the traffic but no fault of the hotel.
