The Neuk | 4 miles to St Andrews
The Neuk cottage is situated near Strathkinness in the Kingdom of Fife, a mere 4-mile drive to the ancient Royal Burgh of St Andrews, known globally as the home of golf. The cottage is also a short drive from Leuchars train station, which is great for accessing Edinburgh and is the mainline to London. Please note The Neuk is adult-only and unfortunately is not suitable for children or babies. For the comfort and safety of all guests, the use of BBQs is strictly prohibited at this property.
Upon entering The Neuk you will find a cosy porch area hosting a dining table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee or meals in the evening. The porch also has golf club storage. From the porch, you will enter the hallway, which leads to the bathroom, living room, and then the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, fridge with small ice box freezer compartment, and breakfast bar which seats two. There is a rear door in the kitchen which leads you out to the rear south-facing garden. The garden is on two levels with a patio area and grass area.
The 1st floor is up two flights of stairs and leads you to the bedrooms. To the left is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, and to the right is the single room with built-in wardrobes. The landing also features large mirrored wardrobes.
The Neuk is the perfect location for a couple looking to relax in a cosy, fully equipped cottage with beautiful countryside and estuary views. Whilst the property has its own private entrance, there is a shared footpath from the off-road parking area to The Neuk entrance.
Short Stay St Andrews also manage Monksholm House, which sleeps 10; both properties can be booked together to host 13 guests.
