Nice place for families

Very nice place for families with kids and teenagers. Plenty of comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The kitchen is a bit tight, but it has all you need for a vacation. lovely view of the ocean but also very private patio which was great.

Great Spot By The Beach

Nice condo with plenty of beds close to the beach. We loved being able to walk out the back patio and over to the boardwalk leading to the beach. Pool and hot tub were nice too

Fantastic stay right on the beach!

We loved our stay! Everyone we met was so nice and the property manager was especially kind. The unit had a beautiful porch and easy access to the playground, beach and pool area. Thank you for a great midwinter break!

Great location

The condo was exactly what we wanted. Great location, close to the beach and has pools for the kids. Things were clean, my only complaint is I wish there were more of the staple amenities such as paper towels, extra garbage bags, etc.

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect condo for our girl's getaway. Plenty of beds for everyone in our group. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice view! Our favorite part was being able to walk out of the patio door directly over to the pool and beach access. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Vacation

We have stayed at CRC numerous times. This was the first time we stayed in this particular room. We love staying on bottom level properties, allowing easy access to pool and beach. This property was great. It was spacious and clean, meeting all of our needs. Washer and dryer was changed out during our stay and this process was smooth and hassle free. I gave an overall 4 star rating due to parking concerns. We have never had to park in the farthest parking lot before and we had to this time, even with a “blue” pass.

Prime location

This condo was in the perfect location for our families with small kids. Bottom floor made it easy to wheel out our wagon of beach gear straight to the beach. There was an indoor heated pool that helped our during rainy Florida hours. Very close to 2 grocery stores and only 15 minutes to downtown st. Augustine. Beach wasn't busy at all either. Loved this location!

Wonderful time

Check in process was great. Stay was lovely. Only recommendations are 1) roaches- need part control. 2) couldn't allow us to use racquetball/tennis equipment because of Covid? Really??.

A bit outdated, but great spot on the beach

Overall we had a fantastic stay. The unit was pretty clean, but many things are older which can make it feel not as clean. It needs some updated appliances to make it 5-star. However, you can’t beat an ocean view. It was easy for the kids to come and go from the pool about 100ft away. And the beach access was so close it was nice to not worry if we forgot something because we could easily go back to get it. We would definitely stay again.

The room was not cleaned very well before our arrival. The floor was still covered in food and sand. The floors left our feet black with dirt. We had to buy mold cleaner for bathrooms, sinks, dirty fans, clumps of hair in bathroom drains, front door wouldn't shut properly and you needed to slam it shut. Besides cleanliness I enjoyed the experience.

We stayed for a short trip with four adults and five kids under five, and the playground, beach access, and indoor pool were a huge hit for our group.We did experience an issue with an odor in the condo. Someone came promptly to check it out but didn’t notice anything at the time. After a few days, some members of our group became sick, and we noticed what appeared to be mold growing in the air vents. Given that the condo may have been closed up after the summer season and with temperature changes in the fall, this seemed possible.We ended up leaving a day early due to illness, but when we contacted property management, they were very responsive, listened to our concerns, and provided a solution quickly and efficiently. Overall, we were very pleased with the location and amenities and appreciate how professionally the situation was handled. We would return in the future.

There are not any storage containers for food so bring your own. The beds are pretty old. The layout of the unit us nice. There are lots of spiders on the patio and there is no fan so it is hard to enjoy the porch after sun down because of bugs and spiders.Access to the beach is awesome and the boardwalk has been rebuilt so it is very easy to access!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Colony Reef Club. The pool is great and love the location to the beach. The ladies at the desk were great. The condo was ok, it is a bit outdated and needs a refresh. The location is great, steps to the pool and beach. There was no broom, couldn't sweep up the sand. The cleaning crew did not do a good job, the patio furniture had cob webs and needs to be replaced, crumbs on the toaster, and the refrigerator was not wiped clean, the coffee maker still had grounds from the last people. The master bed was not comfortable, you sunk into it. We will try another unit next year.

Rainy week in St Augustine

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we liked the area and location. Very convenient to what we wanted to do. The pool was nice and was also the unit was close to the beach. Our only complaint was the unit itself. The front door was very hard to open. The sliding door leading to the patio would not hardly open. Only myself and my son-in-law could muscle it open. Sent management emails the day we arrived and did not get anything done about it until Thursday. Also, we noticed that the "bunk bed" room was hot. My grandsons would not sleep in the room. I initially thought the AC was not functioning very good but on our last day we found out the dry vent was blowing hot air into that room each time we ran the dryer. The room was also not very clean. There was a half bag of some kind of chips under the couch pillows and dirty dishes in the oven when we arrived. Due to the poor maintenance in this unit, I would not choose to stay at this location again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at 2102 with our 2 children and a pair of grandparents. It was a comfortable layout for a group of 6. The inside was clean and stocked sufficiently for a 3 night stay. We would definetely stay again. The only major issue we had was with the sliding doors. One was nearly impossible to open and the other was a bit difficult as well. We put in a work order but it was not attended to during our short stay. Also be aware of the porch area, we found several brown widows and egg cases on the outdoor furniture-- not unusual for Florida but something not everyone would know to watch out for.
