The apartment was very clean. Perfect for one couple. The bathroom is beautiful but the shower could use a shelf or ledge. The outside was extremely dark so arriving at night was a challenge especially for parking in the back. My only complaint is due to other guests and type of flooring it was very loud. The location could not have been better. We could easily walk to so many shops, restaurants and historic attractions, with the trolley tour we never used our car once so the onsite free parking at the location was a bonus for us.

The property is steps away from the Historic downtown area and there is a brunch restaurant across the street. Once we parked at the residence we didn't use our once until it was time to leave because everything is within a 20 minute walk away.

Great place to stay in St. Augustine

What a great place - Casa Maria 2 is convenient, comfortable and charming! My wife and I visit the area a couple times a year, and have done beach rentals, etc. This was our first rental close to the historic district, and it is our new favorite place to stay. Its close to numerous coffee shops for breakfast, fine restaurants for dinner, the harbor for evening walks and if course all the shopping and tourist venues - I can't imagine a better location. The rental was very clean, the kitchen was adequately outfitted and provisioned, the bed was very comfortable and everything suited us very nicely. We wholeheartedely recommend Casa Maria 2 to others, and will be staying there again!

Amazing and Quiet Location

Overall, it was a nice stay. The location of the home and peaceful neighborhood made it an enjoyable getaway. Comfy bed! That said, there are some things we felt could've been offered in the home or better thought out that would've contributed to a 5 star rating, but after 3 nights there, they definitely started becoming frustrating or inconvenient. The shower was not friendly. Water pressure was nice, but there's no bench, stool, shelves...so we had to keep all of our items on the shower floor, meaning we had to pick them up each time, and then either toss them back down or lean over again to set them down. An inexpensive shower caddy would've made things so much easier. The internet was very slow. We ended up disconnecting and just using our data. It also caused the TV options to be limited because Netflix, etc...wouldn't load. Or you'd hear the show, but have no picture. The other things are all just little inconveniences, such as no dish rack, or somewhere to lay your dishes after washing them. More suitable furniture/arrangement to allow for more comfortable seating and side table access. No gray washcloths mentioned in welcome letter, only white. Small bugs on kitchen counter. No small dresser for clothes, only closet. Toilet seat not right size, slid to the side and wouldn't stay up. Parking sign not in location noted in welcome letter, making it confusing when arriving at night. All pretty easy improvements to make, though, and the hosts were nothing but kind :)

Great Place

This was a great place to stay for the two of us. Best of all is the location which makes it easy to walk to the downtown, historical area. Parking is off the street and the neighborhood is quiet. We'd stay here again.

The apartment is in an older building close to all of the Old St Augustine attractions. While not a luxury apartment, the one bedroom, one bathroom was a perfect size for the two of us.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed staying in this cute little apartment in the center of St Augustine. It was within walking distance to everything. We visited many local restaurants and bars, the ghost walk with the jail tour was a blast. The apartment was perfect size for the 2 of us. We didnt cook, but the kitchen was well stocked if we wanted to utilize it. Thanks for having us!

Our second stay here was just as great as the first! More than enough room for 2! Beautiful old house in uptown and walking distance to downtown St. augustine. Host was very good with communication! Would stay again and again!

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I had a great stay at Casa Maria 2 celebrating our anniversary. It was a perfect home base for exploring St. Augustine. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We would stay here again!

Few days in St. Augustine

Nicely renovated 1 bedroom apt. Parking space was provided so did not have to park on the street. Location is excellent for walking to the Fort and to the Historic District. Lock box on door was very convenient because there was no need to keep track of a key. Check in & out was easy. Would stay here again.
