From start to finish, Edgewater Inn was a delight to stay ar. The staff was pleasant and were always ready to assist in any way to make our stay more comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the daily Happy Hour was a great way to wind down the day. The Inn is within walking distance of all main attractions in historic St Augustine and the view of the city and the river from the rooms cannot be beat.

I will pick this over any other in St Augustine

Room is small but actually perfect size for me and the wife. Bed was super comfortable. View was amazing to say the least. Great deal and breakfast was free and quite good. No BS hidden fees. Room also has a fridge. Location was perfect for walking St Augustine. Never got in the vehicle my entire visit.

Great little place

Decided to go for an overnight stay in Saint Augustine pick the Edgewater hotel. It seemed like a nice place. We really did enjoy the Edgewater. The rooms were so clean and fresh and their breakfast in the morning was awesome. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater Inn. From the time we checked until we left, the staff was very polite and receptive. This is a smaller place that seems to have an almost personal, bed and breakfast feel to it. Complimentary breakfast was offered and was more than your standard fruit and cereal. The view overlooking the bay back towards the historic district was fantastic. Outside of building looks a little dated but actually adds to the charm of the place. Rooms were very clean. Staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We would definitely stay here again. If there was anything that I could say that could be better, I would recommend that they get black out curtains for the rooms. The rooms have blinds but a lot of light comes in at night from the surrounding areas. Other than that, great stay and I would recommend!

Sitting on the deck in the mornings while drinking coffee and watching out in the bay was just wonderful! We got to see a dolphin, ray, turtles, fish and other wildlife. Bonus that the pillows were great!

St Augustine Refresh!

This was our first stay here and it exceeded our expectations! I can’t say enough about the staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The view is beautiful and easy to get everywhere. We sat in a quaint dining room overlooking the water and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying here. We enjoy the location overlooking the intercostal and Bridge of Lions, but it could use a little sprucing up and better attention to detail. My biggest gripe is the lack of black out curtains and the outside lights that stay on all night. They have blinds on all of the windows that allow the light to show through each slat even when fully closed. Even the back door that leads to the outside porch area (which is nice to have, by the way) has a glass window with blinds. The porch light stays on all night and with the bed lined up against the adjust wall, whoever is sleeping closest to the back door is going to need a sleep mask if you don’t want to still see light when they close your eyes to go to sleep at night. Or if you just get hammered at one of the many bars in close proximity, you won’t even care! This being said, it is in a great location and they do keep it clean. You can park your car right outside the front door and they even have a pool to cool off on hot days! I would stay here again…I will just always pack a sleep mask!
