Renovation and Fumes

The entire building smells like chemicals from the renovations that are going on. Especially inside of our room. No indication that the hotel is having renovations when we booked online. The attendant said there was nothing he could do for us. The fumes were so bad we were willing to leave this hotel, and had to pay to stay at another hotel a mile away.

The area is well located , about 10 minutes away of the historic downtown; however the daily cleanliness was an issue , the only stop once to clean the room for the 3 night's I stayed over .

The room are confutable but the T.V. is old and small for that room. The ceiling look bad, looks like still under construction. The hall way are very hot.No A/C. Need better look,specially in the hall ways where the rooms are.

Favorite place to stay in St Augustine

This was not my first nor last time there. The level of service and friendliness of the staff has always been great and continues on to this stay as well. Nick at the front desk was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The hotel was being remodeled while I was there this time. Other than the storage of materials in the back parking lot you wouldn't have known. Keep up the great work.
