Perfect location for a mix of beach and city

I travel to the St Augustine area multiple times a year, and this has been my go to lodging for several years now. No bells and whistles, but very affordable, always thoroughly clean, quiet, and comfortable. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Parking can be a bit tight if at full occupancy, but is easy to access and your vehicle is in view from any room. Within a five minute or less walk to multiple restaurant options, as well as bars and entertainment venues. Short drive to the beach and a scenic 10 minute walk to the historic district.

When you come to check in and the receptionist is unfriendly and unwelcoming while wearing a stained Dunkin’ Donuts shirt it does not make the rest of the stay enjoyable. Of course the cockroach in the room didn’t help.

Decent for the money and location

We were satisfied for the most part and will probably come back in December for Night of Lights. However, the pillows are rather hard and there are only 2. Found a few insects in the bathroom. But otherwise it was decent.
