I was disappointed with the property description I did not realize thay there was a main house between the rental and the pool.The walk way to the pool was difficult, the path was uneven and tricky to walk on.The entrance to our front door was also difficult with uneven pavers and palms blocking the door.Also there is no stove only a 2 bunner cook top and microwave.The place otherwise was cute and clean.

Perfect Retreat

Wow! We were so fortunate to find this place! There were so many features to love about our stay. This condo (section of a larger house) is right across the bridge from the city of St. Augustine. We were close to the city, but not right in the hustle and bustle of the city. We were close to great restaurants, the lighthouse, putt putt, and Anastasia Island’s State Park. I almost hate to tell you about all of the property positives. We want to keep it to ourselves. Just a few-minute drive to several beaches in the area. The property itself serves as an oasis, providing a rooftop deck offering a beautiful view of the bay and a pool shared with guests in the other part of the house (made into two condos). The heated pool was perfect for early spring swims! It was very well-maintained and offered a beautiful view.The condo provides what is needed for cooking on the two-burner gas stove. No oven. But, that’s okay because you will want to try out all of the great restaurants in the area! The bottom level of the condo has a small kitchen, a small living area with a couch and TV, and a queen bed. There is one bathroom downstairs in the condo. There is another bathroom accessible. But, it is a little walk to the pool area. Upstairs, you will find a queen bed. No doors between these areas. So, if you’re looking for privacy between these areas, it will be hard to find. We were very appreciative to have a nice washer and dryer to use. This condo was perfect for a couple!

4 day getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute two floor unit. Small space downstairs, but very nicely appointed and functional. Upstairs open and airy. The saltwater pool was wonderful and the view from the pool or the back deck was very nice. Cabe was an excellent host and great communicator. We stayed for a 4 day weekend and it was great.

Amazing property!

The property is absolutely perfect! Great location that is close to all the best Saint Augustine has to offer. Check in instructions were sent well before our stay and getting into the property was easy. Interior was well stocked and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

Not the view I expected

This cottage was cute and cozy but it could have been a little cleaner. It was dark inside as there were no overhead lights, especially in the small kitchen. It’s in a nice location and the beds were very comfy.

Three day stay.

House nice and clean, I enjoyed the gas stove. Didn't like how we couldn't play in the pool after sunset, wanted to put the children to bed and just relax by the pool, but probably wouldn't have done that anyway because the pool is a little walk from the guest house. The neighbors are also very close and they decided to clean off their balcony with what looked like a water hose, but he also had a bug spray pump and sprinkles of whatever he was spraying was hitting us by the pool so we limitted our play to the other side. (Not like this host can control their neighbors) Also those same neighbors let their dog out and the dog watched us for a little bit and then starting barking at us, after a couple barks the dog was called back inside, again these host can't control the neighbors, it was just bothersome. There was also a sign that read no food or drinks by the pool which was crazy because on a hot day one would want something to drink while playing in the pool. The house had this secluded feeling which was nice, the area was very quiet. There was nowhere to put wet towels from the pool or shower. The beds were comfortable and clean. I thought it was weird reading the guestbook that the bathroom next to the pool is a shared bathroom and might not be cleaned after every guest. The pool bathroom trash was half full, but otherwise the bathroom was clean. When leaving they want you to take out the trash and wash the dishes or load the dishwasher.

CUTE little hideaway

When you pull up to thf property you are on a busy road but thr minute you walk around back to the pool and view its like youre in the county. Quiet and peaceful! The hosts were so lind, the place was so clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

The location of this property is awesome, between the beach and the historic district. The view from the outside deck and pool area is beautiful, and the pool is wonderful. It is shared with another unit, but we only had people in the other unit for 1 day of our stay. The unit we stayed in is small, but it was all my husband and I needed, and it is nicely done. We could have used an oven one day (which it doesn’t have), but overall the unit was great for us. The only other problem is that parking when you get to the historic district is rather limited, since we did have to drive to get there, but we managed to find spots each day. The hosts sent a guidebook which had all the information you need for getting around, and places to visit and eat which was perfect for us.

Absolutely LOVED the place. So nicely decorated and appointed. I stayed with my 12 and 13 year olds. We enjoyed the pool - the owner even turned on a bubble machine for us to make it extra special. We woke up early on the last day to watch the sun rise from the rooftop deck. We will be back ❤️

Beautiful Place With Everything You Could Want!

We loved staying here for my husband's birthday trip. The Retreat came with all the amenities we could hope for. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and the views from the rooftop deck. It was a short drive into St Augustine and there are grocery stores and plenty of restaurants close by as well. The hosts are awesome- super responsive and even went the extra mile to ship us back two jackets we accidentally left behind. I would highly recommend this place!

Great Location

It's an easy walk to city center (over the bridge) and the neighborhood was good. Didn't get all of the instructions on how to get in until we arrived, but it worked out. The property is a little smaller than it seems on the listing but for 2 nights, it was fine.
