The home is in a great location with easy beach access. The three bedrooms with private baths worked well for our group. The kitchen was large but was a little short on utensils and pans. If you have a large group this could be an issue. The dining table is large. Seating at the island is difficult because barstools are not the correct height for the island. The home was clean on the inside but the outside deck area could use some maintenance. We had hoped to sit outside for some meals but the table on the deck was not in good show. The pictures in the listing appear to be from an earlier time. Overall we had a good stay but the house could use some updates and repairs.

This is THE most fantastic property. Amazing ocean views, roominess (we had 6 adults and two small dogs), upgraded, very clean and well kept. Easy and quick walk to uncrowded beach. Close to St Augustine and downtown. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The property manager was very quick with replies and very accommodating for early arrival. Highly recommend for families. Thank you for accommodating us.

Beautiful, clean & great locationn

Our family loved the location. House sits high on a hill with plenty of parking. Clean & beautiful home. Best part was bringing our dog. She loved the dog friendly beach. Highly recommend & we would stay here again. Only thing we would recommend is to trim the bushes near the drive way where cars park to make it easier to get out of cars & on the back porch stairs.

This place was very nice and clean. It was a great location near a quieter beach in the area. Sadly, there were a variety of reasons for the 3 stars. (3.5 is more likely.)1. The one bedroom really did not have 2 twin beds and a double. It was a day bed with a trundle and a futon style couch. There was kind of sleeper couch in the family room but Ikea style. When I inquired about this, they said "Sorry for the inconvenience"2. There were limited amenities and supplies. No hair dryers, no iron, kitchen had the basics but nothing beyond that. There were beach towels, chairs (older) and boards. Bring anything you think you might need!!! Also, bring toilet paper and paper towel! There will be one roll and no more. (Also laundry detergent.)3. The air conditioning would go in and out and resulted in a hot house! Reset the breaker to help.4. All bathrooms are connected to a bedroom so if a large group was there, it may be a bit tricky.5. The deck was very old (don't go barefoot!) and needed to be sanded and sealed.6. When you park in the long driveway, you would exit into overgrown foliage which needed to be trimmed. Again, it is a nice house and great location. I guess we were just surprised that the house lacked many basics.

Family vacation house

This was a perfect house for a family of 9. Every adult couple had their own bathroom. Family room and large table were great. Garage parking was not the best set up. Beds could use a topper, but other than little nitpicking it was the perfect house for my family. Walk to the beach was not bad at all!

Plenty of Room and beautiful view

This property was exactly as it was listed. It was clean and well stocked with extra linens and just about anything you would need in the kitchen. The walk to the beach is easy and the beach was not crowded any time we were there. They had extra boogie boards and beach chairs in the garage. I'm sure these are left behind from other guests so would suggest bringing your own but they'll do if you have nothing. The washer and dryer are essential for a weeks stay for us haha. The property manager was very responsive and kind. The downstairs bedrooms do hear noise from upstairs footsteps but that's to be expected with a 2 story home. That would not deter me from staying again. We had a wonderful stay and hope to stay again.

Great House

This house was perfect for our spring break trip. It had more than enough room, was impeccably clean, the kitchen offered everything we needed to cook meals. The sunrises were unbelievable! The foosball table was a huge hit and enjoyed so much throughout the week. Beach access was close and an easy walk. The house is located within driving distance to everything St. Augustine has to offer. We definitely recommend Pelican Peak!

Amazing Get-away!

Lots of room, clean and cozy! It's a perfect choice as a get-away, but also as a home base for other activities in the St. Augustine area. It's conveniently located and has an amazing ocean view.

Amazing family getaway

Everything was just as described! We have a fantastic family weekend getaway and this house did not disappoint. Everything from booking to check in /check out was a breeze. The communication with the host/agent was easy and it made our first time Verbo experience a dream.

Great place

We enjoyed staying there. Close to everything. Especially the beach. Porch was good to sit and see the ocean if you are an early bird. After 9a it was too hot. Area was quiet and clean. And people were friendly . Our dog enjoyed it also.

Great visit

We are not super picky about exterior appearances, but someone who is might have a few nits to pick with this place. The side porch upstairs was overgrown with some of the nearby vines, and the age of the property shows a little from the outside. But inside it was perfect. Open spaces, plenty of beds, an easy walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there over and over without question.

Perfect Mother's Day Weekend. This property if perfectly located in very close proximity to the beach. Wrap around porch gives you great views to sunrises and sunsets. Excellent place for large family gatherings and cookouts. Ample parking, open concept kitchen, dining room, living room which flows right into the deck. Outdoor shower located in the back of the home to wash off beach sand. I will definately book this place again. Look forward to going back very soon.

Loved this property. It is a sleeper. Beds comfortable. Nicely appointed. Quick response to questions. Views spectacular. Our family visited for a wedding and everyone was comfortable and able to find their own private Idaho if needed.

Long weekend with friends

Very nice place and would love to come back. Great location. Home and furnishing are in good condition and clean. Lots of nice amenities available. Truly enjoyed porch and sitting area. One piece of advice to travelers renting this place is to bring toilet paper. You might find less than half roll when you arrive. First night (before a supply run) could be challenging if a supply is not packed. Thank goodness I had a roll packed. Highly recommend this house for small or large group. It’s a winner.
