This condo isnât for you if you seek a clean, well-kept place to stay. It needs deep cleaning and overall refreshing.On arrival Feb. 2, 2026, we found the following:âąWalls marred and in the baths, spattered with what looked like toothpaste and/or soap; tile floors throughout so dirty that slipper soles were black in a day; encrusted, dirty tracks in the slider; screens, with multiple holes, some 2-3 inches in diameter.âąUpholstery on the living room sofa bed and ottoman stained and grubby; stained linens (e.g., blood on the main bedroom comforter, hairs and grit on the mattress pad, yellow stains on a bedroom quilt).âąMoldy showers layered with soap scum. âąWorn/old pots & utensils. Kitchen cupboards & drawers had crumbs and other detritus, requiring total wipe-down; top of fridge coated with a layer of a dust/grease mixture; moisture and what looked like mold under the kitchen sink. An Alexa in the kitchen.âąDust and dirt in corners, behind beds (noted when we washed/change linens) and on closet doors/insides.âą2 small (about Âœ inch) roaches in the kitchen and near a drain. Notified host the day we arrived (Monday); he immediately agreed to send cleaning crew, but crew couldn't be there for 4 days (Friday). They did send a person to clean the two showers 1 day after our arrival--she spent 3.5 hours scraping, bleaching and scrubbing them. After finding the roaches 2 days into our stay, we decided we weren't comfortable staying and moved. Host declined partial refund.
