Whole family gathered at the great townhouse. The house was nicely stocked and well cared for. Excellent location near the lagoon. We had a blast and would return again.
This was the perfect location for attending the Utah State Mountain Biking competition- it was just 10 minutes from the start line and very convenient for our purposes there. It was a beautiful, cozy home and very well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the arrangement fit our group nicely. The lagoon and pool were a fun and unique attraction.
As a note- the area is a bit further away from usual St George attractions like snow canyon, the bluffs, and other entertainment. The area is still being developed so we felt like we were going âinto townâ 20-30 minutes each day for food and groceries and entertainment⊠and an eye pillow!
For fellow light sleepers, I just offer this bit of âknow before you goâ advice. Bring an eye pillow. We rolled in late, after a long car drive (thank goodness for an easy check-in process!), we got all our kids to bed and turned out the lights- but the room didnât get dark! The main floor bedrooms face the opposing unitsâ garages which alleyway is lit up all night with lights from every unit and it shines right through the bedroom windows. We hardly slept the first night because of this. I took a picture but not sure if I can upload it here. Needless to say- it felt like midday. If light at night while you are trying to sleep doesnât bother you- than this would be a perfect unit for you!
Cleanliness issues with shower floors in the two bathrooms on the main floor. Also some stains on the couches and ottomans. Lots of wear and tear to the rugs in the bedrooms as well. My biggest concern was the fact that I was in the hot tub upstairs on the balcony and a maintenance worker let himself in to my rental to maintain the hot tub. Itâs rather shocking to turn around and have someone standing right there. I contacted Red Rock Rentals in regard to this and there response to me was as followsâŠItâs in the rental agreement that if they come to maintain the hot tub they will ring the bell and if no one answers will let themselves in. BTW there is no notification on the balcony that there is someone at the door. I let them know that I was not ok with thatâŠjust being in the rental agreement is not enough. I should be notified by text, email or call that they will be coming to do maintenance on that day. They said they would pass this information along and maybe at some point in the future be able to implement some kind of notification system. Beware that 2-3 times a week they come to maintain the hot tub and if you donât answer the door they are coming in anyway.
