I wish I would have been told I was staying in the pet friendly section- The Pines building. There were stains on the carpet. The dog in the room next door started barking and scratching at the door at 7am. The young man at the desk at check-out had his nose in his phone and barely spoke to us.

Everything was really nice very clean. Great breakfast. The mattress just wasn’t up to my personal liking. I have a bad back and so does my boyfriend so the bed was uncomfortable to us.

Terrible, smelled like they tried to cover up the smell of mold with a whole bottle of perfume. The staff was rude and told us to start our own bonfire. The pool and hot tub are in a separate building from the rooms. It’s October in Michigan that’s a huge no thank you. We left and had to find another room on the fly. I bought the insurance cause site unseen of course and now I feel like it’s gonna be a hassle to get my money back. I will be calling my credit card company and having the charge removed as we could not stay and the staff didn’t care at all.

This place was about what we expected at this price. Nothing fancy, maybe a little dated, but was clean and seemed fairly well staffed. Breakfast was pretty decent and had several options. The pool and hot tub were nice and appeared to be well maintained. The only things of mention were that the phone in our room didn't work and the bath towels are fairly small and there were only stocked 2 in the room.

The hotel looks nice from the outside. The rooms were very dirty. Smelled terrible, the carpets were stained, would not recommend this hotel. We actually did not stay there because it was so bad.

There was no balcony, because was on first floor, and no microwave, and building construction was so weak. All night people at second floors was making noises and feelings was like someone is running over my head, i couldn't sleep. Breakfast with no eggs, no sausage, but distance to the lake what i like it.
