We arrived at the Ramada(St. John’s)in the early morning, after an all night flight. We were planning to just leave our luggage there until we could check into our room, later in the day. The clerk did some searching and found us a room and checked us in early. We were exhausted from the flight and appreciated the the kindness. We were able to nap and shower and go for brunch, all prior to the normal check in time. “Newfoundland-Nice”, I like to call it. As we experienced it often during our trip to the Rock.

The ad says 8-minute drive to the airport. The check-in desk clerk said 15. No shuttle to the airport. Took an Uber. The ride was 15 minutes.

We were not pleased that the original listing showed that there was a kitchenette in our room (the whole reason why we chose that specific room) but we didn't get a kitchenette. The room was ok. The floor was pretty dirty and the mini fridge was leaking. The phone was also disconnected to the be able to call front desk. We were so wrapped up in our fussy toddler that we didn't get a chance to address things. Hopefully the right eyes will see this review and make sure kitchenette is not listed as an option anymore if they are unavailable. The beds were nice and clean and very comfortable as well as the bathroom was nice and clean.

Clean, organized and highly friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The decor and flooring in the halls was from the 70’s and tired but was in clean and immaculate condition.
