Air condition unit was loud and leaked water onto my suitcase. Toilet was plugged upon arrival. Shower needed a few minutes to heat up. Overall felt claustrophobic - not pleasant at all; albeit the staff were very helpful when available

There was no service. This was the most disgusting place we have ever bien. Absolutely no air in this tiny 5 feet x 7 feet room on the 4th Floor as ac unit not Working well and the partying and slaming of Doors all Nights long. We left after the first Night as we were not able to sleep at all. Will surely be asking for a refund as i really Do not know how Someone can even charge for a Room like this. Found out the Day of our arrival that There is no parking either and therefore had to pay another extra 17$ for the parking across the street. What an awful expérience this was.

Reasonably priced for time of year. Rooms are quite small. Bar in the alleyway went until 2:00 am. Able to street park since it was the weekend. Good location for walking around town.

While overall convenient for an overnight option, not having an elevator really hindered our stay. Not sure if it was mentioned on the listing but it wasnt something we knew coming in. We ended up just taking our carry on luggage with us and leaving the suitcases in our rental car and packing for our journey back in the car. It got a bit noisy from streets below but it didnt impact our stay, just something else to be aware of.

Unique old building in walking distance to downtown and George St. As noted on their website, you can hear street noise from the rooms. The room was comfortable, the only issue we encountered was we were unable to connect with their Wi-Fi despite asking for assistance.

Cheaper option to stay in downtown St. John’s. Very old building, very small rooms but overall was taken care of and clean. Very close to restaurants and nightlife. Window shaker AC worked well.

Parking garage across the street so need to factor into the cost. Nice atmosphere in a very old building and our room was lovely. Very convenient to downtown and walkable, tho some hills (like anywhere in St. John’s) and on major route to get out of town to see surrounding area. Lots of fairly steep stairs to access rooms so beware!

Great location, very accessible to downtown bars and restaurants. The stairs are a bit of an issue and the room had a few issues. It was clean and comfortable but a few broken things in the room made it less than ideal for the price. I would still recommend it but was hoping to get the issues corrected before our stay ended.
